The Interpersonal Connection ~ A Tribute To Mr. Jeremy Stevens ~

    in Spirituality

Encouraging and Inspirational Words of Wisdom, Spirit and Life. 1980 ~ 2015 Jeremy Stevens is being remembered as hard working, kind-hearted person. A dedicated fixture at Carver Recreation Center in Johnson City, TN. Jeremy Stevens was also a familiar face around Science Hill High School, where he was the manager for the basketball team under former coach Mike Poe. But because Stevens’ job at Carver Rec was only part-time, he had picked up another position at Daniel Boone High School and he always made time to stop and say hello. “He wouldn’t just throw his hand up and keep walking, he would have conversation with you. He was full of life, and he had a huge heart,” said Good. Athletic Director at Daniel Boone, Danny Good is not the only one who was touched by Stevens kindness. Varsity basketball coach Chris Brown says his positive attitude had a big impact on his players. “He cared for our players he really did he was concerned how they were doing on the court, off the court, sincerely wanted to see them perform well,” said Brown. Even his family knew just how deeply he cared for those at Daniel Boone.

Goddesses as you know October is National Breast Awareness Month. I have decide to dedicate this show to my Best friend of 30 years, Kathy Riggins; who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Join Candance Fuller and I Thursday October 1, 2105 at 6:00p-6:45pm(EST) as we Celebrate SURVIVORS! Candnce will share her amazing, inspiring story! Candance... "they announce the match (diagnosis) I must admit I get a lil scared. But I pump my self up. I had things happen before (trials and tribulations). One more test that I know I have to pass. Here we go! I'm in the ring with a beast (Cancer). It has alot of wins under its belt. Definitely a lot of losses (survivors). They (doctors) say u have to have the ability (faith) to defeat it! Me and the beast are toe to toe. Requirements are I must go 6 rounds (chemo treatments). Each round the beast will get weaker. The referee (God) is always on point. If my opponent gets too rough he breaks the fight up, let me take a break and get back in it. Whenever I go to my corners my coaches (Team Candy) tell me how I'm looking. They give me advice and I have no choice but to smile and jump back in it. I can here the crowd. One in particular I here some booing. He(devil) keeps shouting negative things but I keep it moving. The crowd (family and friends) has started a chant! "You can win." Now as I fight this beast I'm am so confident that I will not be defeated in this match. For I will win the championship.(LIFE)". Let's chat call in at 646-716-7541 to join the conversation. I look forward to speaking to you... Jahari
