There is so much more to actor, comedian, voice actor, singer/songwriter Tom Kenny than just SpongeBob SquarePants, but man, that's a lot.
Since 1999 Tom has been the voice of Nickelodeon's cartoon sensation, which was recently named "the most loved TV series in America" by USA Today
Now, the show has spawned a holiday album, It’s A SpongeBob Christmas! Album, just released by Nickelodeon Records.
Tom sings and co-wrote ten of the album’s 12 songs with producer Andy Paley (Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys, Ramones, Madonna), with whom he also co-wrote and recorded the SpongeBob SquarePants: The Best Day Ever album in '06.
The release coincides with the new stop-motion animated TV special It's a SpongeBob Christmas! (inspired by the classic Rankin/Bass Christmas specials) that premiered on CBS on Nov 23 and will run on Nick Dec 6 at 8:00pEP.
Kenny and Paley wrote the premise for the holiday special inspired by their song “Don’t Be A Jerk, (It’s Christmas).”
Ridiculously prolific, Kenny has voiced major characters for, to name but a few, Brickleberry, Mad, Ultimate Spider-Man, Adventure Time, Winnie the Pooh, Futurama, Transformers; and is announcer for Kids' Choice Awards and MC for Lucha VaVoom.

Tonight, our hosts will interview Mychael Black:
Call me Katherine or Mychael--I'll answer to both. I'm a mother, partner, student, author by trade, and editor by compulsion. I've been in the publishing business for several years, namely as a writer but also as an editor on occasion. It never fails, though. I always end up editing eventually.
I'm a proud bibliophile, to which my poor sagging bookcases can attest. I read all the time, even if it's one of my textbooks for class. I much prefer fantasy and romance, though. While pursuing my Bachelor's in Game Art & Design is fun, I wouldn't necessarily call a textbook on color theory or the fundamentals of design 'leisure' reading. Interesting? Yes. Pleasurable? Um. No.
When not writing or reading or editing, I...eat. Maybe sleep. Or watch Spongebob. Yes. I am a self-proclaimed, thirty-something year old Spongebob Squarepants addict. Much to my partner's dismay. It's fun.
If you're curious about what I write (and who wouldn't be?!), then you can find me below:

It is produced in part by Writer's Online Network, and is intended for a more mature audience.
