Spiritual, But NOT Religious! Really?
A NOTE FROM JOE:
It seems that people are saying more and more that they are Spiritual But NOT Religious. On the surface this seems like a very powerful statement. Spiritual, But NOT Religious…does this smack a bit of rebelliousness to you? Is it anything beyond trendy? I would think that a Spiritual, But Not Religious person would be a Free Thinker, someone who wasn’t swayed by some Leader, Guru, Priest, Teacher, etc., someone who has the courage to say, Just because the Guru says that it is so does not necessarily make it so! Some of these people are, indeed, such Fre*e Thinkers and some are not.
While it is possible for a person to follow one of these groups AND at the same time be a Fre*e, Sovereign Being, and I do know some people who can do this, I have encountered many who have difficulty with this. Although they may be aware of many groups, they affiliate with one and conversation often becomes “My spirituality is better than your spirituality.”

The Men’s Spiritual Radio Hour, Third Tuesday, 8pm EST
The Men’s Spiritual Radio Hour is a radio show for Men to listen and talk about their experiences of Spirituality in today’s world. The discussions on the show aim to help other fellow men learn how to be able to open up to their Spiritual belief systems while still keeping their regular “9-5″ lives in balance. A shift has taken place over the past 10 – 15 years where many more women then ever before have started to open up and share their Spirituality practices and beliefs which has led to the formation of many meditation and spirituality groups. We have found that many of these groups consist of a majority of women and a minority of men. We would like to see more men involved in this new shift and would like to use this radio show as an opportunity to invite them to share, experience and learn about spirituality from the male point of view. We hope that this will not only help other fellow men but also help them come to a greater understanding of their relationships with all of spiritual women in their lives. Most shows will follow a similar format where we will interview a guest speaker to speak about Spirituality in their lives, followed by questions from your phone calls into the show.
