Completely self-taught, she discovered that better nutrition, herbs and exercise gave her body what it needed to heal itself every single time.

After experiencing severe injuries from a car accident followed by seven years of suffering, she was healed and mentored by an energy healer who inspired her to do what she does today.

Using her spiritual training and life experiences, along with Intuitive Healing, Coaching and Thought Work sessions, she will guide you through your journey to creating a blissfully happy life.

Build a wood pallet deck? Find out how from Hoosier Homemade

    in Design

Can you really build a wood pallet deck? We're talking what you need to know before you get started with Hoosier Homemade's Liz and Doug.

Hoosier Homemade Liz Lantham wood pallet deck
Hoosier Homemade's Doug and Liz Latham built this wood pallet deck for their side yard. We're finding out what they learned along the way.
Building with wood pallets to create a deck can seem like a time-saver or a headache. And we're betting that's it's a little bit of both. Which is why we're talking with Liz and Doug from Hoosier Homemade who recently built a wood pallet deck for their side yard.

What kind of site prep do you need to do? What about footings? What about the openings between the boards? And how do you secure all of those pallets together?

Yes, we have a lot of questions about building a wood pallet deck.

"Building with Wood Pallets are all the rage, and I love how cool and rustic they are, so I was excited about the idea. One problem though, Wood Pallets are often times too rough looking with broken pieces and the slats are too far apart. He [my husband] assured me that he knew of a place that sold Wood Pallets and they weren’t all built with large openings." -- Liz from Hoosier Homemade

Liz and her husband Doug strive to help you Be Heroes to your Family through easy DIY projects, creative crafts and simple everyday projects, including hundreds of cupcake designs. Check out their website at HoosierHomemade.com.

    Radiation therapy life saver?

    in Health

Radiation therapy is thought to be a life saver and can be for many tumor conditions. Radiation to the head and neck can change the life quality so much that patients who undergo that therapy begin to have second thoughts months after the therapy is completed.

Even with prior dental exams, Brian Britz our guest today, sadly finds himself looking at the spector or losing all of his teeth. He's been dilegent about home care his entire life of 56 years, he's had dentists compliment him on his beautiful teeth. Now, they're melted and beyond repair. One by one he's having his teeth removed every ten days until they're completely gone. Sounds barbaric right?

We'll explore questions about the oral systemic link and how it relates to head and neck cancer survivors. Should all teeth be removed before head and neck radiation treatment? Who should pay for the treatments? If you don't use your mouth to eat what level of care do you need for your mouth. Brian bravely talks about his scary prospects for maintaining a quality of life living with dental pain and eventually no teeth at all.

The electoral earthquake that was Mississippi's Republican Senate primary has pushed this question to the forefront of American politics. E.J. Dionne
    The Mississippi Paradox
"Our anti-Washington politics has been to make sure that we got as much of it here as we could," he said. "You've got the tea party excited that they've corralled a big spender, but he was bringing it back to Mississippi. That's the paradox of all paradoxes."Marty Wiseman, former director of the Stennis Institute
