Subtle Energy Science with Dr. Gaétan Chevalier

    in Health

Many of us know that subtle energy exists due to its profound impact on our lives, even though we can't see it and don't exactly know what it is. Dr. Gaétan Chevalier has made it his mission to scientifically prove and measure the fascinating specturm of subtle energy. He is one of the world's foremost experts in subtle energy measurement and research.

Dr. Chevalier received his Ph.D. from the University of Montreal in Atomic Physics and Laser Spectroscopy. After four years of research at UCLA in the field of nuclear fusion, he became professor and Director of Research at the California Institute for Human Science (CIHS) for 10 years doing research on human physiology and electrophysiology. After leaving CIHS, Gaétan became an invited researcher in the Department of Developmental and Cellular Biology at UC Irvine. Dr. Chevalier has been Director of The Earthing Institute since its foundation in 2009. He is also Research Director at Psy-Tek Subtle Energy Laboratory located on the CIHS campus in Encinitas, California.

Join your host, Cristina Smith, Director of the Subtle Energy Center,  for an enlightening Subtle Energy Encounter with Gaétan as we explore tracking those elusive not-so-subtle energies.

2/22/12 -Dr. Hildy-Dr. Alfons Schulte -RAMAN TECHNOLOGY

    in Health

1st Hour: RAMAN TECHNOLOGY: Its Basic Technique, Methods and Use in Various Applied Focal Systems
2nd Hour: Discussion of Collaborative Research on Amber, Ancient Proteins, Breast Implants, Yamato Shinjo and Far Infrared Treated Water
When considering the greatest inventions of the 20th century, most conversations will steer towards the microchip and television, but special consideration must be given to the laser. An amazing piece of technology, the laser has more applications than one could possibly name. Just as diamonds are forever, a laser is an optical device that creates a beam that continues in one direction until it is reflected off of another surface. Depending on the strength of the beam, its uses vary, from reading compact discs to bloodless surgeries and theoretically, as a weapon to knock the living daylights out of someone. But despite its global usage, to scientists, the world is not enough, and lasers are being used in new and interesting ways on a molecular level.
One Cell One Light Radio, Dr. Staninger, welcomes Dr. Alfons Schulte, Professor of Physics at the University of Central Florida, expert on the use of Raman spectroscopy.

Industry Progress: Cannabis Testing & California Initiatives

    in Current Events

Cannabis Times Radio is pleased to welcome AnnaRae Grabstein, CEO of Steep Hill Labs, and Dale Gieringer Ph.D., Vice Chair of NORML.
AnnaRae will be discussing the QuantaCann, during the unveiling at the High Times Medical Cannabis Cup in Los Angeles:
"After working with a team of national experts in the field,  chemists, engineers and programmers for 18 months, Lampach and the Steep Hill Lab team developed QuantaCann, an innovative new approach to cannabis analysis. QuantaCann combines Near-Infrared Reflective (NIR) spectroscopy and thousands of calibration samples from Steep Hill’s vast database to deliver test results in seconds directly to the provider.  The system empowers clients to carry out the analysis themselves. Results are analyzed instantly and remotely using Steep Hill’s powerful centralized computer, solving the challenges of sample transport and turnaround time. As an added benefit, QuantaCann can post real time strain test results to a provider’s Facebook, Twitter, Sticky Guide or Leafly social media sites and will soon be integrated into various Point of Sale systems including MJFreeway."   As the co-founder of California Drug Policy Reform Coalition and of Californians for Compassionate Use, Dale will discuss the various 2012 initiatives, and why some are better than others.

Susan Thixton: Heavy Metals In Pet Food

    in Pets

Spex CertiPrep (http://www.spexcsp.com) recently published part 1 and part 2 of their test results about heavy metals found in pet foods. Susan Thixton, Founder of TruthAboutPetFood.com has been trying to find the answers as to how this could even have happened and what the FDA’s plans are to improve the safety of pet food. "The analysis of all the pet food samples showed that the highest concentrations of toxic elements were found in the dry foods of both cats and dogs. Out of the elements studied, dry food had the highest elemental content for 13 of the 15 elements examined. Dog food had the highest result for nine of the 15 toxic elements and cat food had the highest concentration for six of the 15 elements." -Analysis of Toxic Trace Metals in Pet Foods Using Cryogenic Grinding and Quantitation by ICP-MS, Part 1 published in the January 2011 Spectroscopy Magazine. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to Susan Thixton to discuss in depth her exploration of this highly disturbing research and to also discuss options that pet owners can take. Stay tuned!
