Epik recently released a song about the Michael Brown shooting and here is what he had to say.
In light of the recent string of police brutality and senseless murders of unarmed black men across the U.S., super producer, writer, and artist Epik was moved to create a song that he hopes will speak to the masses. Epik feels music is a powerful tool. It heals, creates thought and invokes emotions and feelings and can be a voice for the people. Epik has put together an eye opening, powerful piece that directly relates to the current issues. This high octane, socially conscious song will hopefully provide some kind of voice or will illicit open dialog in hopes of somehow, someday finding racial peace!!! THIS HAS TO END!!
