I was introduced to Classical Ballet at the age of eleven. I was my happiest when I was at the Ballet Studio doing odd jobs to pay for Ballet Classes. When in class, I was in another world, A HAPPY WORLD...1st position-barre-plie-releve-2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th position.
Ballet teaches body discipline. Did you know football players have been known to take ballet classes. The discipline serves you well as you advance in age too.

In this episode, we talk with Deborah Engerman, Director of the Classical Ballet Program at Dancemoves Dance Studio. She has recently toured Europe as Ballet Mistress with Rasta Thomas' Bad Boys of Dance and has now returned home to the USA, teaching in MD and PA. She trained with the Baltimore Ballet in the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) tradition, passing her graded exams. While pursuing her degree in International Policy at Dickinson College, she continued her study of classical ballet at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Her dance training also includes Vaganova Technique, French Methodology, and the Dance Education Program at Towson University.
Dancers trained by Mrs. Engerman have danced with Universal Ballet, The Washington Ballet, Ballet West, The Vienna Opera Ballet, the Boston Ballet, Complexions Dance Company, The Mark Morris Dance Group, and on Broadway. She has also been a coach to dancers winning at numerous international ballet competitions, such as The Prix de Lausanne, the Varna IBC, and The Youth America Grand Prix. One of her students, Adrienne Canterna, took the Junior Gold Medal at the 1998 Jackson USA International Ballet Competition.

In Mission Park, the ambitions of four childhood friends land them on opposite sides of the law. Rookie FBI agents Bobby (Valdez) and Julian (Rothhaar) must go undercover and face their hidden pasts in an attempt to bring down their 'best friends' (PEREZ, SORIA) criminal organization. The film is written by Bryan Anthony Ramirez and produced by Spirit Award Nominee Douglass Spain.
The film will be released in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and San Antonio on September 6th, other markets soon to be announced. The film won the Best Narrative Feature, Best Direct and Best Acting Performance (Walter Perez) at this year's Boston International Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the World Fest Houston International Film Festival. The film stars Jeremy Ray Valdez (Walkout), Walter Perez (The Avengers), Fernanda Romero (Drag Me to Hell) Joseph Julian Soria (_Crank: High Voltage, Filly Brown), and Wil Rothhaar (Battle Los Angeles). It also features Vivica A. Fox, Will Estes and Sean Patrick Flanery.
