    To the Moon, Alice!

    in Internet

Nearly everyone on the planet has heard of the XPrize, which has spawned hi-tech competitions with multi-million dollar prizes for everything from fuel efficient vehicles to sub-orbital spacecraft.  However, in what must be the XPrize that is by far the most "Out There," the race is on as hree-dozen teams are vying to become the first private enterprises to land a rover on the moon. The winner takes home $30 million.  In fact, the Google Lunar XPrize competition has recently heated up with one competitor, Team Astrobotic collecting a three quarters of a million dollar "Milestone Prize" for overcoming key technical risks in the areas of imaging and mobility.  XPrize may announce more Milestone winners in the coming weeks, if other teams can prove their rovers are on track to land on the moon by December 31, 2016. What we will explore in this episode is the history of the XPrize as well as this current round of utter lunacy.

Sasha and Janet Lessin: Anunnaki: Gods No More

    in News

Sasha Lessin, Ph.D., author of Anunnaki: Gods No More and producer of the hugely popular web site, www.enkispeaks.com, studied with the late Zecharia Sitchin, for many years. Mr. Sitchin asked Dr. Lessin to create popular courses to revise ancient anthropology and add the aliens, the Anunnaki, on Earth from 450,000 – 300 BCE.

To appreciate ethnology, Lessin’s specialty in Anthropology, he invites you to empathetically review stories our ancestors recorded and recited of Extraterrestrial (ET) gods.  The people of the ancient world described the gods as giant humans with what we would call Tesla technology, spacecraft, weapons of mass destruction and interplanetary travel charts. The tale that these gods created us is true, they weren’t gods, they were just big people.

Lessin’s work documents the fallacy of Darwinian gradual evolutionism that posited human evolution from pre-cursor hominoids but failed in 140 years searching to find a missing link.  Lessin validates Lloyd Pye’s formulation, “Macroevolution’s false, Microevolution’s true, Interventionism’s what Earth Got.”

Lyceum Of The Wolfe: Episode Forty Four

    in Paranormal

Today's Paranormal History 101W lesson is being brought to you by "The Eclectic Novelist" Carmichael Wolfe and it will be centered on the mysterious occurrences that some of us humans find ourselves experiencing each and every day of our paranormal lives. Also, just like the previous episodes; all episodes with the title Mysterious Occurrences will deal with real life paranormal experiences and investigations.

In addition, the listener will be treated to various paranormal accounts that have been taken directly from The Forbidden P Files of Human History. These accounts detail our collective experiences with this enigma that appears to be millions and millions of years old and possibly even billions of years old due to its uncanny ability to invade our space with absolute impunity.

We as a species have absolutely no defenses against these "Paranormal Entities" that also include Extraterrestrials and their spacecraft. This very same phenomena that's terrorizing modern day humans also terrorized our collective ancestors during Biblical times as well as during Medieval times.

We as a species really need to get together for a frank and nonpolitical discussion about the Extraterrestrials since some of us understand their methods.

Visit carmichaelwolfetheeclecticnovlst.com so you can read about the 22 Axioms that detail the methods of The EE. Also a free Extraterrestrial APP called "Guide to the EE" can be download by visiting www.appcatch.com The APP provides a wealth of info.

May your nights and days be filled with the answers that you seek.

Military Monday with John D. Gresham With Zenith Press Author Piers Bizony

    in Military

For people who grew up in the middle of the 20th Century, space travel/exploration has been something of a disappointment since the lunar landings of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The promises of commercial space travel, promoted in such feature films as Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A SPACE ODDESSY have never been realized, and man's toehold in space has been limited to near-earth ventures like the International Space Station (ISS) and the American Space Shuttle program that was shut down several years ago. In a word, disappointing.

However, the 21st Century has finally begun to deliver on the promises made by people like President John F. Kennedy and Werner von Braun, thanks to a number of pioneering commercial space ventures that are rapidly beginning to deliver results. Companies like Orbital Sciences and SpaceX, are already providing resupply and retrieval services to NASA for the ISS. And sometime in 2017, SpaceX will fly their first manned mission aboard their own U.S.-built Falcon 9 rocket. These rapid and well conceived programs have not gone without incident however, as demonstrated by the recent accidents involving Orbital Sciences and Virgin Galactic's boosters and spacecraft. Nevertheless, these bold ventures, led by men like Richard Branson and Elon Musk are pushing ahead, and look to be back sometime in 2015.

To learn more about the coming revolution in commercial space projects, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham (@greshamj01) i for Military Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern. His guest this week is Zenith Press (@Zenith_Press) author Piers Biznoy, and they be discussing his new book. NEW SPACE FRONTIERS. Together they will discuss the current crop of commercial space ventures, recent setbacks and successes, and the long-term viability of space as a commercial enterprise arena.

Getting Hammered with Steve Hamilton and Stevie J West

    in Politics Conservative

It's Friday night, and LIVE from Casa de Hammy, it's time for Getting Hammered with Stevie J West and Steve Hamilton.  We took last week off for stuffing ourselves with Turkey and all the fixin's, but now we are BACK! WOW, what a couple of weeks. Ferguson went crazy over the Grand Jury not indicting Office Wilson and New York decided to follow suit in the Eric Garner case.  Rolling Stone Magazine broke a major story on rape at University of Virginia fraternities, then just as quickly walked those allegations back. Twitter has become the battleground for armchair lawyers, the feminists are going insane, and Rand Paul admitted that smoking pot isn't good for you (really, he did!).  The whole world has gone crazy.

But it's not all bad news.  The United Sates is FINALLY back in the Space business with the launch and recovery of the Orion spacecraft today.  Gas prices are the lowest they have been in 6 years (well. that's good AND bad), and on top of all that...Getting Hammered is back on air!

So grab a cold one and join us at the bar, it's Friday night, and we're Getting Hammered!

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0039 Thanksgiving, Christmas & Catholic news

    in Politics

On today's show, I discuss first the importance and significance of both the Thanksgiving holiday and the beginning of the Christmas season which began yesterday with Advent. I also point out the importance of praying for those less fortunate who suffer in poverty and oppression. I urge you to give to poor during the Christmas season as well. On the line of religion which is so important to Latinos, I read two important news articles related to that. Bishop Chaput of Philadelphia gives an interview regarding Pope Francis' visit there coming next year and comments on the nature of biased news reporting concerning the Pontiff's commentary. In another article concerning Pope Francis, the Pontiff met with Patriarch Bartholomew I in Istanbul, Turkey over the weekend and the Pontiff received the blessing of the Patriarch in the form of a kiss upon his head. This is a continuing of the efforts of reapproachment by Saint Pope John Paul, The Great, who sought to engage in diplomatic and religious amity with the Orthodox and Protestant Churches. Pope Benedict XVI also continued the effort and made great strides in connecting with members of the Episcopal Churches. Pope Francis continues this effort and this event marks another great stride forward as it is recognized that the two churches are co-equal and parallel in their direction. I then read an article about a Rasmussen poll that reportedly shows that 62% of "LIKELY' voters opposed Obama's executive action regarding immigration. Though I read the article I also criticize it as being biased and the poll as also being biased and aimed at propaganda possibly. I also read an article concerning the slight slowing of "Black Friday" sales this year. Lastly, I read briefly the news about the upcoming test launch of the new NASA space exploration capsule, Orion. I am very excited about this new spacecraft.

Modern Problems: On Comet Landings and Battery Life

    in Technology

Hosts Phil Bowermaster and Stephen Gordon discuss the triumph that is this week's historic landing of the Philae space probe on comet 67P, and the odd circumstances by which unwanted shade and low battery life might cut the mission short.

In an oddly related story, the Hubble Telescope has just celebrated its 25th anniversary.

In other news, scientists are doing creepy mind-control experiments that really work (and that perhaps aren't all that creepy -- or technically even "mind control," come to think of it.)

PLUS -- will it soon be possible for anyone to have a young mind -- no matter how old they are?
