SORT BY Relevancy
Join us on the broadcast for Sunday's Message entitled: "The Beginning of Sorrows." Scripture tells us that as the time draw near to the end of the age and the second coming of Christ; that various calamities, distress and deception will begin to occur upon the earth. He refer to these things as the beginning of sorrow. (Matthew 24:1-8). Jesus warns His disciples not to be deceive because of the false Messiah that will arise claiming to be the true. We are also warned not to be distracted and seduce by spirit of the Anti-Christ that is now in the land. Notice that it is the spirit of the Anti-Christ that is now in the land, and not the actual Anti-Christ himself. The body of Christ is admonished to be watchful, and prayerful, and fully equipped with the whole armor of God in order to stand in these last days of sorrow. Join us on the broadcast and be blessed.

After the Beginning of Sorrows on Prophecy Headline News
After the Beginning of Sorrows on Prophecy Headlines News will being in India where Hindu radicals bent on destroying Christianity at Christmas are continuing their assault of believers there. We also will discuss the Australian terror event in the Lindt chocolate café or coffee shop where a radical Muslim had held hostages. We cover much more!
Moreover in looking at the phrase “After the Beginning of Sorrows” which is highlighted on this Prophecy Headline News we will bring to the front the issue of society today and it’s ultimate effect on those who live in that society. In Chapter 24 of Matthew there is a little used verse. It is short and it reflects what it will be like after the beginning of sorrows. The beginning of sorrows is described in Matthew 24: 4-7; with verse eight saying “all these are the beginning of sorrows”! What comes after the “beginning of sorrows”? In short, sorrow!

There are those who cause pain to others, and those who are the victims of painful behavior. The human condition is such that a Savior is needed. Two weeks ago we finished a reading of Paper 111 from The Urantia Book, The Adjuster And The Soul. We love this paper for so many reason and we're not alone. It's cherished by many Urantia Book readers.
This paper ends with a section in which a Guardian Angel presents a formal statement in extenuation of the difficulties of ministering to her mortal subject on this most challenging and difficult world. This seraphim reports on the unending conflict between the two natures of her subject. Among other things she laments:
the urge of ambition opposed by animal indolence;
the progressive plans of an ascending being modified by the desires and longings of a material nature;
the flashes of universe intelligence cancelled by the chemical-energy mandates of the evolving race;
the urge of angels opposed by the emotions of an animal;
the training of an intellect annulled by the tendencies of instinct;
the experience of the individual opposed by the accumulated propensities of the race;
the aims of the best overshadowed by the drift of the worst;
the flight of genius neutralized by the gravity of mediocrity;
the progress of the good retarded by the inertia of the bad;
the art of the beautiful besmirched by the presence of evil;
the buoyancy of health neutralized by the debility of disease;
the fountain of faith polluted by the poisons of fear;
the spring of joy embittered by the waters of sorrow;
the gladness of anticipation disillusioned by the bitterness of realization;
the joys of living ever threatened by the sorrows of death.
She ends by exclaiming, "Such a life on such a planet!"
These dichotomies are a painful reality to us on this world. This week we want to explore how we might overcome some of these challenges to live a richer and happier life, a life in true partnership with God.
How lonely sits the city That was full of people! She has become like a widow Who was once great among the nations! She who was a princess among the provinces Has become a forced laborer! She weeps bitterly in the night And her tears are on her cheeks; She has none to comfort her Among all her lovers. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies.
Judah has gone into exile under affliction And under harsh servitude; She dwells among the nations, But she has found no rest; All her pursuers have overtaken her In the midst of distress. The roads of Zion are in mourning Because no one comes to the appointed feasts.
All her gates are desolate; Her priests are groaning, Her virgins are afflicted, And she herself is bitter. Her adversaries have become her masters, Her enemies prosper; For the Lord has caused her grief Because of the multitude of her transgressions; Her little ones have gone away As captives before the adversary. All her majesty Has departed from the daughter of Zion; Her princes have become like deer That have found no pasture; And they have fled without strength Before the pursuer.
In the days of her affliction and homelessness Jerusalem remembers all her precious things That were from the days of old, When her people fell into the hand of the adversary And no one helped her. The adversaries saw her, They mocked at her ruin. Jerusalem sinned greatly, Therefore she has become an unclean thing. All who honored her despise her Because they have seen her nakedness; Even she herself groans and turns away. Her uncleanness was in her skirts; She did not consider her future.
Therefore she has fallen astonishingly; She has no comforter. “See, O Lord, my affliction, For the enemy has magnified himself!” The adversary has stretched out his hand Over all her precious things, For she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, The ones whom You commanded. That...

With these 10 little steps we will learn how to walk with Mary during Lent, and keeping our devotion to her, or growing in one. I hope and pray to see you all Thursday at 5!
Come now, let us reason together....from the Word of God.
Is a life of wellness possible? Yes it is. It is seen in the Word of God. The Word of God sets forth clearly the Finished Work of the Cross.
Isaiah 53 is a classic passage about that Work.
In Isaiah 53:4 we find the words, 'griefs' and 'sorrows'. These are not the correct translation from the Hebrew. What is meant in this verse is healing for the body, not the emotions.
