On today's episode we'll talk about the events last weekend at Sonoma Raceway, in which Kyle Busch goes to victory lane for his 30th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win at the age of 30. Kyle knocks off one of the two stipulations to make this chase in 2015, and we'll discuss what he has to do to make it.
Plus our attaboys and disappointments.
Also, we'll dive into the NASCAR trying to ban the Confederate Flag at tracks, and why NASCAR needs to be careful in that decision.
We'll talk about this wonderful tire that Goodyear gave the teams this week.
Also, could there be a new addition to the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule, and why a change in the schedule will be relieving, this one has Brandon iritated.
Should NASCAR Franchise teams, and give guaranteed starting positions in the race? We'll discuss that.
And of course, we'll preview the Coke Zero 400 from the World Center of Speed, Daytona International Speedway.
NASCAR is enjoying a weekend in the mountains (again) as the Sprint Cup Series competes at Pocono Raceway, and the guys in the Frat House Sports Garage are pouring over the "data" to help you get into "Race Trim", Sunday morning, beginning at 11 am.
7 weeks ago it was Martin Truex Jr solving all the angles of the "Tricky Triangle", but a lot has changed since then. Kyle Busch has managed a staggering 4 victories over 5 of those 7 weeks and is looking to spoil Truex Jr's bid for a Pocono "sweep". With all eyes on Busch to tie a record (win a 4th consecutive race?), at least 2 past Pocono winners, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart, are racing against time to secure their claim in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Also under the hood this week: major changes are coming for MWR which might spell the end of the iconic team; SHR states that a contract extension for fan-favorite Danica Patrick is going to happen; "Frat House" Mike will bring an NHRA update from Sonoma Raceway and Sidekick will offer the best possible roster with his NASCAR Fantasy Picks.
Stop by the Garage and have your morning coffee with hosts "Uncle"Mark & "Crew Chief" Brandon for great "wheel chatter" and bring along YOUR comments to: 347-826-9964, Sunday morning, 11 am (edt) !!

It’s been a few weeks since the guys in the Frat House Sports Garage were together, but as we near end-of-month, it’s all now colliding with last minute inspections, and folks wanting to get their vehicles “road (coarse) ready” for summer-driving during vacation season.
The guys are looking back at the rain-shortened race at Michigan International Speedway which gave Kurt Busch his second win of the season . . . but, more importantly, this week presents the challenge of the first of only two road coarse tracks at Sonoma Raceway where Jeff Gordon has won five times since 1998 . . . but not since 2006. Could he get his first this season right here . . . right now?
Plus, we’ve got a bit of nitro drama going on over in NHRA. John Force has had some rather odd and cryptic remarks recently about rival Don Schumacher over at DSR. Is this just “sour grapes” on the part of the sport’s greatest champ, or has this been “staged” to draw attention to the sport? What the hell is going on back there?
Don’t forget the regular features like Uncle Mark’s Over the Wall; Sidekick’s NASCAR Fantasy picks; and the garage guys’ Eat-My-Dust Picks for Sonoma. Who’s going to make the right turn?
The Frat House Sports Garage is OPEN on Sunday and the coffee is flowing . . . you BETTER bring plenty of donuts . . . and your phone calls to 347 – 826 – 9964!
From Dale Jr. getting engaged, to the new rules package, and Erik Jones breaking through not once but twice, Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks have it all covered.
The biggest news of the off-week is the advent of the proposed 2016 aerodynamic package coming in early at Kentucky, and what it could mean for competition. Along with that, after trying so hard in both Xfinity and Camping World Truck action, Jones finally was able to close the deal, first at Iowa in the truck and then at Chicagoland in the car. Now that the burden of not closing the deal is gone, what's next for this young man?
Along with that, it's a look ahead to the road-racing weekend for both Xfinity and Sprint Cup, as both Road America and Sonoma will see action to close out June.
Tune in at 6:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. CT to hear it all.
