Wednesday, April 8, 6pm EDT: Mitchell has invited back environmentalist, M.I.T. trained engineer, author, popular speaker, Matthew Stein, to discuss the issues of solar storms, climate change, emergency disruptions and what to do about them. Mitchell and Matt will also discuss safe, green and sustainable building, bearing in mind the ever-changing landscape of our earth at this point in time and climate change.
Matt has been a guest numerous times on Coast-to-Coast and other national TV and Radio shows, and is for the second time on A Better World Radio with Mitchell Rabin.
Matthew is an environmentalist, bestselling author, MIT trained engineer, and green builder. As an inspiring speaker and visionary thinker, he is dedicated to helping people wake up and unite to shift our collective course from collapse to global renaissance. On the practical side of things,as an expert at self-reliance, emergency prep, and survival, his writings and work help people prepare to weather the storms we are facing due to continuing climate change and ecological decline, coupled with a fossil fuel based economy that has recently passed the peak in world oil production and is struggling to cope with impending near-term shortfalls.
Stein is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he majored in Mechanical Engineering.

Join TalkSolar host Beth Bond as she interviews Ralph Velasquez, NewWind out of Nashville, Tennessee about their new way to maximize solar on your roof.
Ralph has been involved in the roofing and building industry since 1978 and renewable technologies since 1999 .In his career, he has re-roofed millions of square feet in the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional and Governmental sectors all over North America. His passion for sustainability was formed from his early ideals of stewardship, minimalism and legacy, sharpened by five years in the late 80's and early 90's, working in sub-sahara Africa.
Ralph is one of the industry's early innovators in the green roof industry. He developed the GreenSave calculator, the green roof industry's first financial benefit calculator and was part of the ASTM sub-committee that wrote the first five national ASTM standards for green roofs. He completed the first ever green roof installation on a Presidential Library, with the completion of the William Jefferson Clinton Library in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2008 and an award winning design on the National Institutes of Health, in Bethsesda, MD Involved in distributed solar since 2008, Ralph developed over 3.5 mW of rooftop solar during the throngs of the great recession, from 2008-2010,
From 2010-2012, Ralph was the Executive Director for Sustainability for a global roofing manufacturer, responsible for all policy and strategic sustainability initiatives, world-wide. In late 2012, Ralph, along with his wife, formed Ark Investments to focus on micro investment opportunities in sustainability, in rural and local communities. To date investments have been made in sustainable animal husbandry, music and land development. Earlier this spring, Ralph joined NWES, as the Sr. Director of Business Development to again pursue the idea of rooftop solar, this time with a ROI financial focus.

The Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA) is launching an aggressive national campaign to educate Americans regarding the truth about the solar industry, and the impact of government solar subsidies on taxpayers and consumers. In its recent report titled, A House of Cards: Solar Energy’s Subsidy-Based Business Model, TPA concludes that Big Solar’s heavy reliance on government handouts threatens taxpayers with another Solyndra. If you look past the media hype, what you see is an untested business model heavily dependent on government handouts and financing schemes of baffling complexity, which have, thus far, produced more red ink than reliable energy.
David Williams, TPA President: Big Solar cannot simply reoccupy Solyndra’s office space and declare victory without first making fundamental changes…The American people and their elected representatives should have no faith that other Solyndras are not also poised to collapse like a house of cards. Why should taxpayers have confidence in Big Solar when the same subsidy-based business model that created Solyndra continues to dominate an unprofitable industry?

We Are Being Told The Solar Energy Technology Is One Of The Most Viable Sources Of Energy But This Is Not True. The Two Most Viable Sources Of Energy On The Planet Are Water And Wind, Solar Energy Technology Should Not Be Used As A Every Day Energy Source. Solar Energy Should Be Used To Grow Crops, Plant Life, Trees And To Grow The Elements Of This Planet, And To Energize People By Way Of Receiving The Sunlight. We Need Sun Light As Our Source Of Energy It Produces Natural Vitamin D3 In The Body. We Also Need The Sunlight To Aide In Our Thought Processing, Without Sun Light We Develop Conditions Like Depression And Sun Downers Disease Which Are The Early Stages Of Dementia. The Ozone Layer Has Been Depleting Around This Planet, It Is Burning Away, And It Is Causing Deadly Hazardous Conditions On The Planet For Plant Life And People Who Are Not Able To Absorb The Sun. People Who Are Not Carbon Rich Will Suffer From Melanoma, Cancer And Other Sun Exposure Diseases, Because They Can Not Absorb The Natural Sunlight. To Combat The Radiation Of The Sun Coming To The Planet Solar Panels Were Created To Deflect The Radiation Of The Sun. This Helps The Human Race Who Can Not Receive The Sun, But For The Black People (Carbon Coded Dark Skinned People) The Sun Is Being Channeled Away From Us Making The People Of Sun Dangerously Deficient In Vitamin D3. The Lives Of The Human Race Are Being Saved While At The Same Time The Carbon Coded People Are Being Harmed Because We Absorb Sunlight. Solar Energy Was Not Meant To Be Utilized To Artificially Light To Energize This Planet.
The Sun is the source of all light, energy and all of life. The Sun is associated with the highest form of enlightenment. So ask yourself, Do you have a relationship with the Sun? We're going to have a great time as we talk about all type of information in relations to our Solar System. So come join us as we share some LIGHT on the Sun. We'll also open the lines for you to ask questions and share you’re experiences with the family. A LUCKY CALLER GETS A FREE COPY OF: THE SOLAR ATTUNEMENTS!!!! DONT MISS OUT! BE SURE TO CALL IN.
