Today's topics included the following:
*26 month old camel; not many opportunities to practice. Some hits, some misses. Mom thinks part of the problem is she has trouble releasing.
*Night training question: do I have to keep a little potty in the bedroom? With my eldest I did but he would sometimes miss the potty a bit and his room always smelled like poop. Can I train my younger to just get up and go to the bathroom?
*Nap training is not going well, so Mom fears night training. (spoiler: you can't approach naptime training without night training)
*21 month twins, pooping in nap/night time diapers. Doing excellent in the waking hours.
*2.5 year old, day trained is running to the potty after she dribbles in her undies
*Homeschool question: How did you decide on curriculum for your son?
*'Nother homeschool question: what about socialization?

Excerpts from his website:
On Our Representatives: "The people of Michigan and these United States, are uncomfortable with the decision making process on their behalf...being a public servant is an honor, not a reward."
Parental Rights: "The 14th Amendment clearly defines the roll of parents.Parental questioning and decision making is the right of the parent. In regard to medical treatment, education, and socialization, these are the rights of parents also guaranteed in the 1st Amendment. You may question the upbringing of a child, but this does not require a CPS home investigation. Obvious abuse, yes. But to question cultural differences is an attack on our constitution. Cultural differences are to be respected, outside of harmful physical attack. Discipline is not abuse. Not to discipline is abuse. Immorality, irresponsibility, and aggressive abuse are reasonable cause for concern.

How To Teach & Talk To Your Children About Violent Video Games Dr. Wendy James joins Joe to discuss.
Violence is not just a game, as suggested in a video game scenario. Lines between reality and fantasy become blurred. Isolation is also a factor. Children, and people in general, need socialization. It keeps them connected to reality where sometimes you're accepted, sometimes you're rejected. In all cases, you need to learn to deal with it. Dr. Wendy James talks more about the implications of video games on our children and society. Tune in!
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.
Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.
But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!
If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!
