Creating a Sober World, A Context for Communication

    in Christianity

My guest today is Dwight Harden. Dwight and I will be discussing Creating a Sober World as a context for communication. During our talk I will be asking Dwight about how he discovered his talent for Science Fiction writing. He is currently working on a scipt which has gained the attention of a producer. It has a Biblical theme and may just find its way to your local Cinema.

This is our first broadcast in a number of months that is because your host. George McLauchlin, that's me, has been doing research on for a series of books relating to creating a sober world. I will be discussing these in the weeks ahead. Stay tuned.

Sober Fun - "We Are Not a Glum Lot!"

    in Lifestyle

A common fear of getting sober is that we won't ever have fun again. Our memories of celebrations, nights out, socializing with friends typically include alcohol, so we can't imagine what we will do without it. Will our friends still want to hang out with us? Will we still laugh? What on earth will we DO now that we don't drink? Join us for a discussion that will quell those fears! Sober life opens the door to a life of fun and laughter that we never contemplated. As a famous recovery saying goes, "we are not a glum lot"! Come have some Sober Fun with us!
