When you hear the name Mike Heffner you think of 410 sprint cars, ARDC Midgets and SpeedSTR owner. All of that is true. But in the other world of Mike Heffner he is know as "Heff". In that world he is the President of Lelands is the largest and most respected Sports Auction House in the world. He is recognized as one of the top experts in the field of sports memorabilia as well as being universally well liked. So well respected in fact Mike has consulted for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on fakes and frauds in the industry of sports memorabilia.

Teachers can be heroes. They spend time with kids every day and get to see them under different circumstances, often seeing and hearing what parents never do. Meet fictional high school English teacher, William Bachman, who teaches at Atlantis High School. He is the central character in the series of Jersey Shore thrillers which include Heartless Cruelty and Laid So Low. The main character becomes a reluctant sleuth, and there are plenty of disturbing mysteries to be solved as the books delve into the dark side of the Jersey Shore with issues including sex trafficking, political corruption, and child abuse. Richard Goffman has written a series of fast paced books with engaging characters and the hero is the English teacher. It might come as no surprise that Goffman spent the 1970s teaching English in Long Branch, NJ at the high school and junior high, and these days he’s a professor of writing at Montclair State University. The author based the fictional town Atlantis on Long Branch, NJ and says, “That town had beauty and ugliness, it had familiarity and magical strangeness, and it had enough racial, ethnic and economic diversity to yield no end of characters.” The books are must reads for Jersey Shore fans! Richard Goffman has written textbooks, stories, poetry, plays, screenplays and numerous articles. After the interview, check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more info.
Another World Finals Charlotte in the books. It was a great trip for the Low Down and Dirty gang. We didn't see as much racing as we wanted but what we did see was crazy.
One guy that enjoyed the trip was sprint car driver Chase Dietz from Central PA. Chase posted this yesterday "It was an amazing experience being able to race at the WoO World Finals. The atmosphere was like none other." We can't agree more. Chase will be with us to talk about his Charlotte experience in the Scott Gobrecht #44.
Show will be broadcast from Corporate Headquarters in downtown Bechtelsville PA.
Tune in at 8pm Tuesday night.

t ranks among the most famous words in all of motorsports, somewhere between "Gentlemen, start your engines," and "Andretti is slowing down at Indy."
Anyone who has attended a World of Outlaws race in the past decade or listened to the races on dirtvision.com knows what we mean. "You wanted the best, you got 'em, four abreast, often imitated, never duplicated, the greatest show on dirt, the Woooorld of Oooooutlaws."
That is right Johnny Gibson gives his trademark introduction moments before the drop of the green flag. He will be with us to talk about World Finals in Charlotte along with his great career of announcing motorsports.
Our second guest is the announcer of the Super DIRTCar Series Modifieds and the weekly announcer at Brewerton and Canandaigua speedways has a certain way about him that has his fans in his corner every night. Shane Andrews has a style that makes him different, not just in the way he describes a race, but in the way he holds a crowd together, engages with the fans, and the sense of humor he invokes at almost every turn. A great talent in and outside the booth. You know he will be up on the chip getting ready for World Finals, should be a great interview folks.
