Dimensions in Belief: Global Justice Institute
Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC) is one of the world’s emerging churches, proclaiming a spirituality that is liberating and sufficiently profound to address the issues of our chaotic and complicated world. Since its founding in 1968, MCC has been at the vanguard of civil and human rights movements by addressing important issues such as racism, sexism, homophobia, ageism, and other forms of oppression. MCC has been on the forefront in the struggle towards marriage equality in the US and other countries worldwide and continues to be a powerful voice in the LGBT equality movement.
The Global Justice Institute is an important human rights ministry sponsored by MCC. We're honored to have Rev. Pat, the Global Justice Institute's Executive Director, join the Dimensions in Belief program to share with us how, as a people of faith, the Institute will work toward human rights and justice around the world.
Please visit GodDiscussion.net for more information about the Global Statement of Need recognized by MCC/Global Justice Institute and other information.
