North Carolina born soul-pop singer, Molly Roth can’t help but create art on a daily basis. Starting classical piano lessons at age six, she decided to form an all-girl pop band (inspired by the Spice Girls) with her friends at her 8th birthday party. She made everyone sign contracts saying that, no matter what, they would keep making music together. When her family later moved to California, the band didn’t stay intact, but her drive and determination did. Singing and playing the piano became a solo activity for Molly.

Skinny Molly was founded in 2004 by Mike Estes (formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd) Dave Hlubek (formerly of Molly Hatchet) and drummer Kurt Pietro. What was meant to be a one off tour of Europe has turned into one of the hardest working and popular rock bands out of the southern United States. Skinny Molly now includes guitarist Jay Johnson, and bassist Luke Bradshaw.
This line up has toured relentlessly, crossing the States and three continents on the strength of their "No Good Deed" debut CD, which has established the band as popular touring outfit across the USA and Europe. In late 2012 the band signed a record deal with Ruf Records who will release the forthcoming album, "Haywire Riot."
The album will be released to coincide with Skinny Molly's upcoming European tour slated to kick off late October. It will be available Stateside by the first of next year.

Molly is featured in Emmy award-winning filmmaker, Mike Bloebaum's documentary, "My Musical Life" airing world-wide on PBS in 2010 and 2011. She has a music degree from UC Berkeley and currently lives and performs in Los Angeles, CA with her band as a solo artist. This is the time for New Year’s resolutions! And for many of us, one of the main goals is to lose weight and improve one's health. For women that often looks like a decrease in dress size and for men a reduction of that stubborn belly fat, love handles and back flab.
This is also the time when we get bombarded with pills, potions and magic lotions for fat loss. There are so many programs out there that it can be hard to discern the good from the bad... what's what?
In this episode, Dr. Budweiser, founder of Weiser Living, will be shedding some clarity on the subject of detox and weight loss and will be discussing the methods that we use here at Weiser Living for ourselves and our clients. These methods are scientifically validated and effective without harming the delicate balance of the body.
You will learn things like:
Why it is essential to focus on detox before moving on to fat loss
Fat loss vs weight loss vs inch loss - What is the difference and why is it important.
Skinny vs Lean - Why does it matter?
How stress can impede your fat loss goals and what to do about it.
How digestion plays an important role in fat loss.
Specific steps to take in your first week of your fat loss journey.
What to do for continued success.
Explanation of the Weiser Living Detox & Fat Loss Program.
All this and much, much more!
So tune in for the skinny with Dr. Budweiser.

It's an "all Southern rock" kind of show this Sunday folks, as we welcome a couple of our old friends to the KUDZOO Radio Hour. Mike Estes, a former member of Lynyrd Skynyrd AND Blackfoot (how about them apples??) and currently rocking his band SKINNY MOLLY will talk about his career thus far, and we will spin some tunes from the smokin' hot new Skinny Molly record. We also welcome Tim Lindsey, bassist for the one and only Molly Hatchet. Tim has had quite a career himself, and we will talk about his tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd and playing in bands that led up to his Hatchet gig! So get ready for some old honk, fellow babies. Phone the neighbors, wake the kids. It's gonna be fun!
In this show, I'm answering YOUR top spirituality questions! And as always, these are awesome topics to dive into and explore for the benefit of everyone listening:
- I feel my job here is complete. So l seek nirvana and pray to God to call me, this way l can help my loved ones and be their spirit guide. What should I do?
- Do items touching my skin, such as jewelry and eye glasses - affect my chi and auric field?
- Can you explain what it means when a planet leaves one zodiac sign and enters another? It seems like that happens a lot, but some times are more important than others.
- I finished reading Modern Heroine's Journey of Consciousness and I have a question about the five types of consciousness you explain. Can these energies overlap?
- I want to open up to more of my spiritual gifts in 2015. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks!
