    Nisa Islam Muhammad is the founder and executive director of the Wedded Bliss Foundation, a community based organization helping teens and adults develop healthy relationships and healthy marriages to better the outcomes for children. She is the creator of Black Marriage Day, a yearly national event in March where over 300 neighborhoods celebrate marriage in the Black community. She is also the coauthor of the Basic Training relationship education curricula for Couples, Singles, Men and Women. Her work was featured on CNN's Black in America 2 and she has been quoted in Essence Magazine, Black Enterprise, the upcoming February 2011 issue of Ebony Magazine, the Washington Post, New York Times and many more publications around the country. She can also be heard on the Michael Baisden Radio Show. She has received numerous awards for her groundbreaking work to strengthen marriage in the Black community but most of all she's just your sister trying every day to justify her existence by serving her people.
