    Simply Sinister Leftovers: Bullies #89

    in Entertainment

The Simply Sinister shows have now concluded, and Bullying was the last remaining topic on them.  I wasn't completely finished with the shows, so I will finish them simply here, with some more clips for you, and a discussion, and I will also bring up my own personal experiences on this so others that listen in can relate and perhaps know that they have a friend in their corner, and also have some hope when you come across and deal with manipulative, nasty, evil, calculating, cold, people, some that pose as your friends, but are wolves in sheep's clothing. Some of these people think they're smart, and pulling one on you, even though you can clearly see through them.

There are people that use their intelligence against you, manipulate and con you into submission, and there are all sorts of monsters out there that need to be exposed for the demons that they are.

Make no mistake about it: they don't care about you, your life, bills, well being or anything else, and it is time for you to stand your ground, speak up, and let the universe know how you feel.

Never let anyone tell you what you can/can't talk about, what you can/can't express, what you can/can't do with your life, what you can/can't do with your services, and what you can/can't do in general.

    CM Radio - Mar 5, 2014 - JRDN, Bend Sinister & More

    in Music

Happy March, everyone. Our first show of a diverse month of CM Radio is pretty diverse itself. We're excited to have R&B recording artist JRDN on the show. Originally from Halifax, JRDN has spent the last several years touring behind 2007's "No Dress Code" and 2010's "IAMJRDN." Now, he's pushing the recently-released "JRDNEP," featuring the single "Can't Choose" with our pal Kardinal Offishall.
We've also got Dan Moxon of Vancouver's Bend Sinister on the show, talking about his band's (fabulous) new record, "Animals," which drops March 11th through File Under: Music. We'll chat about the new release, recreating some pristine piano sounds on the road, and how scoring films translates musically to output from an indie rock band.
Finally, Ryan Schroeyens, a founder of the Canadian DJ Show, will be on to speak about the event and its first edition in Calgary, happening in May 2014. The Toronto show will also return in the fall, and we'll try and get details on what people can expect from each.

Simply Sinister 7: Cursed Hollywood #80

    in Entertainment

We talk and revisit some of Hollywood's most famous tragedies, that were so bad, untimely, unpredicted or just downright awful, that they earned the right to be included in these "Simply Sinister" shows.

Join us as we reflect back at some of the most popular or tragic Hollywood misfortunes.

Nobody can deny that Hollywood has had its share of events that were downright horrible, and have no real, easy, explanation as to why they happened, or what good (if any) came of them.

Simply Sinister 10: Bullies, online trolls, creeps, etc. #87

    in Entertainment

We are back with the final simply sinister show, as we focus on bullies, online trolls, creeps, and an opening by Mommie Dearest herself.

You know, it is not a strength to be an anonymous internet badass, nor is it cool or does it make you a powerful entity to be a bully, a troll, or a creep. That is just one way, and a poor way, to handle stressors, & points to issues that really do need to be resolved.

We also encourage people, that instead of getting angry, upset, or intimidated by such figures, to instead show them compassion and perhaps try to help them, because that is what they truly need the most.
