Luke Potter is a young artist / songwriter from the UK who’s starting to make a buzz with his songs. At the age of 17, Luke picked up an acoustic guitar for the first time and started writing songs not only about love but also about growing up…In a short time he’s become a natural songwriter and emerging artist in the making. Music Week selected Luke as one of their ten ‘favorite’ new talents of 2011 and commented saying “Luke’s songs are beautiful.” Promo Only agrees saying it’s “exciting hearing such a fresh new and exciting talent like Luke… it’s perfect for US radio”.
In September 2013 he signed a management contract with WEG (Wright Entertainment Group) and Orrigami.
Since then he’s been even busier with writing trips to Sweden, Canada and USA during 2014 where he’s worked with some amazing collaborators.
He also did a short UK school tour and a small tour (10 shows) in the USA in July / August 2014 to a great reaction.
With a great catalogue of songs ready to go Luke will be putting out new music and videos soon!
Luke will join Take 2 Radio Music on Wednesday, September 10th at 3pm eastern/8pm GMT (UK) We will play his brand new song "It's Ok to Dream" as well as other songs.

Nominated for a 2014 New England Music Award, Kate Callahan, Connecticut’s “Best Singer-Songwriter 2013” has three albums including her recent release Two Doors, which was featured on WNPR's Where We Live.
Callahan’s music feels soulful and she’s unapologetically optimistic in concert. WNPR host Colin McEnroe praised a recent performance, saying, “Kate Callahan is the only performer I’ve ever seen who occasionally seems to be channeling something vaster and far more ancient than herself, something more easily understood by Emerson than by any modern person.
Kate’s credits include appearances at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artists Showcase, the New Haven Festival of Arts and Ideas, and the CT Folk Festival. She has opened shows for folk legends Judy Collins and Noel Paul Stookey (Peter, Paul, and Mary), troubadours Aztec Two-Step, John Gorka, Mustard’s Retreat, and the late Bill Morrissey. She has also shared stages with folk-rock artists Rachael Sage and Regina Spektor. Stookey calls Callahan "real" and says her lyrics are "Zen-like."
Kate joins Take 2 Radio Music for a chat and music on Wednesday, September 3rd at 3pm eastern!

In June 2013, Christina Holmes, a singer/songwriter originally from New Jersey, now based in Rhode Island, was presented with the opportunity to record her debut album with multi-platinum producer Narada Michael Walden after he heard some of her demos and was blown away by her raw talent. Walden has produced music royalty like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Aretha Franklin, and worked with world-class musicians like Sting, Carlos Santana and Lenny Kravitz. He bonded not only with her talent, but also with the message her music represents. Soon after Christina flew to California to begin working with Narada at his legendary Tarpan Studios.
I will be talking to Christina Holmes about Peace, Love and C. Holmes. Better still. we will be taking a couple of tracks for a spin.

The Wall Street Journal dubbed musician Salme Dahlstrom a “savvy singer” and “music licensing queen” when, like Moby before her, she managed to license every track from her 2008 album The Acid Cowgirl Audio Trade to various corporations and television programs. At the time, Dahlstrom was not only just getting noticed, she was just getting started.
“C’mon Y’All,” one of catchiest numbers on an album of catchy numbers climbed Billboard’s Dance Chart and eventually received prominent placements in major ad campaigns for CoverGirl, Suave, and Kellogg’s that ran on primetime network television for months.
Trust us, you know this song!
While managing what inevitably became a highly successful licensing business, Dahlstrom continued to do the work that got her there, releasing the first of a three-EP set as a follow-up to the various singles and remixes that came from and were inspired by The Acid Cowgirl Audio Trade.
“Pop Propaganda Volume 2: Retro Funk Soul Junction” bySalme Dahlstrom is scheduled for release on September 16th, 2014 via Kontainer Music. The first single “Pop Ur Heart Out” was released on August 5th, 2014, accompanied by a trio of remixes of the track by SpekrFreks, DJ Phunkae, and Quadrat Beat on August 26th, 2014.
There's so much more to Salme and you will here it from her when she joins Take 2 Radio Music on Wednesday, Sept. 17th at 3:30pm eastern!
In life there are many talented individuals whose musical gifting and expressionism appears effortless to audiences. Some are born with these gifts while others are trained to become great minstrels and psalmists. However, there are those who are exceptionally blessed to marry their natural gifting with their learned skills to become known as “masters” of their craft! Having been compared to Oscar Peterson, Thomas Whitfield and Richard Smallwood, Isaac S. Cates immerges on the gospel music scene as an artist with an astonishing musical knowledge, skill and unparalleled creativity that places second, only to his passion for ministry. Born in Kansas City, Kansas and affectionately known as a child prodigy, Isaac has always shown a great interest in music. With a strong spiritual foundation laid by his parents, Isaac’s participation in the music ministry at his local home church began at a very young age of four, as did his formal training. Trained in piano performance, writing and composition, having studied piano performance and Choral conducting at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in his short life. He has won numerous accolades in local, state, regional and national competitions earning him various awards and recognitions as one of the most skilled and talented musical gifts to the world. Isaac has served as workshop clinician abroad, teaching vocal diction and serving as adjudicator for several vocal, instrumental and composition seminars and competitions.

Aidan Nolan relocated from Australia to New York in 2005. As well as fronting some of Australia's more popular bands, aidan has written music for film and television plus contributed vocals to recordings for a range of Australian and UK artists. He has had two albums of original songs released internationally to critical acclaim and an ever-increasing "cult" following in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Recent additional releases included European club re-mixes exclusively for "in-club" DJ use. Aidan's career has included a number of musical "firsts" for Australian artists. His initial record label had so much faith in aidan's writing and vocals that his first single was the most expensive recorded in Australia
Now sitting at #1 on his respective reverbnation charts he is poised and ready to once again hit new heights. In the last two years, there has been a huge resurgence of interest and support for the work of vintage Australian singer songwriter aidan nolan. The quality of his
work has rocketed him to the top of the Reverbnation charts in the highly competitive New York market and his label, Two Faced Records, has received enquiries from the US, UK, Europe, Australia and Asia about further releases.Having re-located from Australia to the US a few years back aidan has written music for film and TV in Australia and charted on commercial radio in the UK and Europe before arriving here. It now seems that a much wider and younger audience has discovered this writer for his lyrical intelligence and perception in combination with highly approachable melody. Further, aidan is fast becoming known for the diversity of musical genres he can approach and still do great credit to himself within. In partnership with multi-award winning producer and arranger Stephen Lightbody.
