Are we any closer to finding out the truth behind Benghazi? I have my doubts. Hillary Clinton's book plummets in sales on week two. Thad Cochran finds support in strange places. The GOP doesn't much care for the ruckus the Tea Party are causing, and apparebtly neither do minority Democratic voters in Mississippi.Shame really, a Tea Party loudmouth might have turned Mississippi blue. Is the immigration reform debate dead?

Our weekly look at the news, both from the left and right. Has Trump derailed the entire Republican chance to take the Whitehouse over? Well he certainly has sucked the air out of the room.

It happened on Thursday, but the punches are still being thrown regarding the GOP debate. You have to love Trump, he has all of the class of roadkill. But he is amusing.

The Iran deal continues to simmer. There are some left wingers that are now turning against it. The big question is... does it matter if congress don't like it? What will the rest of the world do?

This week the panel will be talking about Bowe Bergdhal, has he moved from POW to POP (Prisoner Of Politics)? It is an unusual situation, only time will tell the end result. Susan Rice claimed he served with distinction, yet his fellow soldiers share a different feeling.

Hillary Clinton is about to launch her new book, or is she launching her 2016 run for the whitehouse? The book campaign has been managed with the care of a military opperation.

Well it has been a busy week for the 2016 presedential hopefuls. There is something delightfully peverse that it is FOX News that is staging the first GOP debate. Only the top 10 make it to the main stage, the other 7 will be entertained in a tent. No one seems keen on Trump being involved, The Tums will be flowing freely.

The Week In Reviews - Adriana Rubio - Syd Barrett Interpretation

    in Music

Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd fans rejoice! On July 7, 2014 AR Garden Records, via Cherry Red will release the debut album by the Garden Music Project, which features music inspired by the paintings by PINK FLOYD founder SYD BARRETT. 'Inspired By Syd Barrett's Artwork' is a unique masterpiece of 12 tracks that truly reflect the early artistic concept of Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett and his music legacy in modern times. The release will coincide with the eighth anniversary of Syd Barrett’s passing in 2006.

The music on this release can be best described as an epic interpretation of Syd Barrett’s paintings using Synesthesia perceptions. This music venture was created by Adriana Rubio. All the music was written by Adriana Rubio and Alexander Ditzend together with Alexander Ditzend (guitars & lead singing), Stefan Ditzend (bass guitar & saxophone), Nicolás Saganías (drums & percussion), and Fabrizio Gamba (keyboards & synthesizers).

Our weekly look at politics and current events. It has been a busy week. No doubt the GOP reaching for the Tums after Trump has announced his presidential bid. Putin is adding to his nuke stockpile, that should do wonders for world peace. Pope comes out of the closet on Global Warming, and Jeb is unhappy. Oh there is so much to talk about

    in Current Events

Our weekly look at news and current affairs. There is lots to talk about this week. However I want to start the program with a subject that is not in the headlines although it certainly should be, education. Why are all of the 2016 hopefuls avoiding this subject? The answerin my mind is that it isn't sexy. Religion, Immigration, Abortion, Voting regulations, etc are sexy, education is not! Why not? is the question I ask myself.

Lots to talk about this week.

Is it time for the patriot act to die? The bulk collection of meta data does not seem to have produced any results. When it was enacted weeks after 9/11 the government could have mandated anything, and the American public would have agreed. Mandatory eating of Brussel sprouts, but times have changed. Is it time for the patriot act to die?

Hard to believe that the first GOP presedential debate is less than two months away. FOX is limiting it to the top 10 contenders based on some polls. Needless to say the other 8 or so hopefuls are miffed. So it is likely that we are facing 8 weeks of idiocy while they battle for a top ten spot. I find it humorous that anyone would want to be on FOX, but oh well.

Our weekly look at News and Politics. I am no longer surprised at how often the two subjects become meshed. The Amtrak crash certainly brought this to the forefront. I rather liked John Boehners comment about Amtrak has bags on money but prefers to sudsidize food service rather than improve safety systems. I'll bet he would not be saying that had he been a passenger.

Jeb bush and Iraq. Exactly how many positions can he have on the subject?

ISIS takes Ramadi. Is it time to do something about the Caliphate? but who? There seem to be few countries in the region that want to take the lead. And there is little interest in entering into the battle from the west.
