We were pleased to meet Sidney this year. And she is very capable of introducing herself and telling us tales of her life, so far. We met her when we were looking for a solar powered boat and it turned out that she owns one! But this was just the beginning of a very rewarding friendship. Sidney was not only a heavy equiptment operator and boiler maker and an active union member but she is also a comedian (she writes her own jokes) and a liberal who was born a Texan!
Actress Katharine Houghton talks about her experience as a cast member in the groundbreaking movie Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, and film critic Mack Bates shares his picks for best movies about the African American experience. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner received 11 Oscar nominations and won two of them -- Best Picture and Best Actress. It also made a profound impact on the marketing of feature motion pictures in southern states. The 1967 film starred Sidney Poitier, Katharine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy and Katharne Houghton, who is Hepburn's niece. Houghton has appeared in other films including Kinsey, Ethan Frome, The Last Airbender and Billy Bathgate. She is also a successful playwright, popular lecturer, and award-winning stage actress. She won an Obie for her performance in Scent of Flowers and has played roles in over 50 regional theater productions. Bates has written freelance articles for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and serves as a staff blogger for Milwaukee Magazine's official film blog. He also received a local Emmy for his work on The Robert and Rosie Show. Co-host James Colt Harrison is a film historian who contributes film commentary to a variety of outlets.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, Pens Initiative and Radio: PI are proud to bring to you, Crosby! No, not that Crosby. Well put those frowns upside down. Mike Asti does welcome a Crosby to the Pens Initiative airwaves, Wes Crosby, of NHL.com.
The Penguins have been continuing their bipolar tendencies lately, with some big wins, but also some gutwrenching big losses. How much concern should there be over the struggles against hockey's elite? What adjustments does this team need to make to be better suited for a long playoff run? Have there been some bright spots, despite maybe it not showing up in the win column? Does it simply come down to needing more from the stars?
Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti goes toe to toe with Crosby....!
Radio: PI and PensInitiative.com on the Pens Initiative airwaves.

Today we welcome back to the World Beyond Belief Ole Dammegard, a person that we always find informative, enlightening and inspirational. On this broadcast, Ole shares some of his vast expertise in media and investigating public assassinations and false flags and sheds light on some of the more recent cabal productions including the Charlie Hebdo case, (which he breaks down in some depth) The Ottawa shooting, the case of the Sidney sheik, Sandy Hook hoax and many others. He sees all of these cases as being staged using a general template for creating false flags and psy-ops used around the world to produce mayhem and allow the controllers to enact restrictive legislation and bring in the police state. As usual Ole emphasizes that we must always remain in Love and stay out of the fear reaction that these staged events are designed to engender. The World Beyond Belief is hosted by Paul Marko, Ph.D., and Mindy Urken.
