Andre Controversa Presents: Planned Parenthood and John Boehner: Both Bad

    in Politics Conservative

    All,
with all the news surrounding the Planned Parenthood baby parts scandal, it's a wonder we haven't covered the issue so far.

Truthfully, those in the know about this issue have been so busy and swamped with media themselves that I haven't been able to get them on the air.

    At least, until tonight.
Stay tuned at 9-00 p.m. CT, as we devote the first hour of the Andre Controversa show to this gruesome but timely topic.

Our guest is Jim Sedlak, founder of Stop Planned Parenthood and vice-president of the American Life League.
Jim will give us a detailed overview of the three videos from the Center for Medical Progress, as well as the allegations they are making against PP.

Our second hour will feature Logan Albright, spokesman for Freedom Works, who will tell us why so many conservatives and libertarians are disgusted with John Boehner.

We will discuss the recent coup attempt by North Carolina Congressman Mark Meadows, as well as Mark Levin's bold statement urging Boehner and McConnell to resign.

That segment will cover the first 30 minutes of the second hour.

For now, we don't have anything scheduled for the last 30 minutes, so Jim and I will probably give our oh-so-eloquent commentary on the political scene.

If I get a guest for the last 30 minutes, I will send an update.

Please tune in at www.blogtalkradio.com/andrecontroversa, starting at 9-00 p.m. Ct.
you can also find us at www.libertarianrepublican.net.
Feel free to call in during the show at 914-803-4350.
    We'll see you this evening.
    Andre Controversa

    America's Classical Music Jazz

    in Music

Join me this evening when I interview Cedric Hendricks and William Brower regarding the bill H.R. 1682, the National Jazz Preservation, Education and Promulgation Act of 2015.  The bill will preserve knowledge and promote education about jazz in the United States and abroad.  Cedric Hendricks is an attorney based in Washington, DC. For over the past thirty-two years, Cedric R. Hendricks has worked closely with Congressman John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI) on Jazz-related legislative and policy initiatives.  Among his accomplishments with Mr. Conyers has been the development and passage in 1987 of House Concurrent Resolution 57, which designated Jazz as a rare and valuable national American treasure.  This was followed in 1989 by the passage of legislation designating May 25th, the birthday of Bill Bojangles Robinson, as National Tap Dance Day.  In 1991, they successfully secured federal funding to establish the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, which is now over 20 years old and has performed around the world.  Most recently, he worked with Mr. Conyers on the development and introduction of a new bill for jazz, HR 1682, the National Jazz Preservation, Education and Promulgation Act of 2015.  William Brower resides in Washington, D.C.  In his 45-year career, Bill Brower has been a community organizer, a jazz journalist and oral historian, and a jazz and special event producer. SUNDAY ON SANDERS

    in Politics

1st Hour: Bernie Sanders Q&A Christian Science Monitor press breakfast June 15, 2015.

2nd Hour: Join Host J. Michael Pryor, Douglas County, Kansas in discussion on all things progressive.

Bernie Sanders is a Democratic candidate for President of the United States. In 2006, he was elected to the U.S. Senate after 16 years as Vermont’s sole congressman in the House of Representatives. Bernie is now serving his second term in the U.S. Senate after winning re-election in 2012 with 71 percent of the vote.

From the Bernie Sanders campaign news page:

June 27, 2015 In the Granite State:

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Saturday began a two-day, seven-stop weekend swing through New Hampshire with a midday town meeting at Nashua Community College.

More than 500 people came out to hear Sanders call for a jobs program to address African-American youth unemployment.  The crowd applauded when he welcomed Friday’s Supreme Court ruling that same-sex couples have a constitutional right to marry. And there were cheers when he praised Pope Francis for the pontiff’s encyclical this month making the moral case for dealing with the planetary crisis of global warming.
