Have you searched for records and finally found that special person you have been looking for? So what? What does the record tell you? Is this all that you need?
Join Dr. Shelley Murphy, aka "familytreegirl" for a discussion on the "SO WHAT" concept? "So What" is a concept used in the Midwestern African American Genealogy Institute to help analyze genealogical records and resources. The goal is to question the value of the evidence and plan the path to new leads and discoveries.
Shelley Murphy, aka "familytreegirl" is a native of Michigan. Shelley has been an avid genealogist for over 25 years researching the Davis, Marsh, Goens/Goins/Goings, Roper, Boyer, Worden, Cureton, & Murphy, etc. family lines. She attends and presents at local and national conferences and currently works for a nonprofit and serves as adjunct faculty at Averett University. Awake 2 Oneness Radio with Author Sam Shelley, Friday May 22, 2015 at 7:00 PM EDT. Sam is the author of "Don't Dwell" and Founder of the Don’t Dwell Sanctuary in Warminster, PA.
"Sam the Miracle Man,” as he is affectional called by his friends. Sam has survived two near-death experiences and five incurable diseases (bipolar, MS, migraines, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis). Sam spent most of his life in extreme pain and suffering with his mental and physical disabilities. Sam required thirteen medications a day and needed mobility aides (walker/cane).
Today, Sam lives free of disability, free of medicine, and free of disease.
Sam’s journey to health began when he had a paranormal experience that made no logical sense to him. This created a new sense of openness to explore beyond the defined standards of traditional medicine. Sam saw that conventional medicine was not the answer, since his health continued to decline.
Sam began to study about meditation and discovered that one of the benefits of meditation was inner peace. So he began his practice of meditation and had no idea of the miraculous healing that would occur a short three months later.
Today, Sam ia an author, Inspirational speaker, Spiritual counselor, Divine Love Healings, and psychic. Sam leads three meetup groups, Don’t Dwell…Just Live, One “Perfect Spirit” Law of Attraction Group, and Men’s Spiritual and Empowerment Group.

Today we have our guest co-host Jo Willette and our guest Shelley Fisher, The Hebrew Hillbilly.
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Shelley was born with a slightly tarnished silver fork in her mouth. Through her house wafted the sweet honey suckled aromas of her Mama's down home cookin'. Much of her life's work has been dedicated to recreating the authentic corn bread of her youth. She has triumphed with her signature dish, Horny Cornbread StudMuffins®.
As with most young people, identity took a while in coming. When Shelley was barely twelve, her Daddy died. She skipped through adolescence and learned to sing and cook, soon becoming famous for her delectable Corned Beef and Cleavage.
After graduating with honors from Boston University, Shelley completed her graduate work in Fine Arts and Trauma at UCLA, but, she is most proud of her post graduate stint at the world renowned Cordon Blow School of Hot Cuisine.
She recorded a solo album on Fantasy Records, wrote 'Disgorilla', the sequel to Rick Dee's 'Disco Duck', and scored a vocal hit with 'Wonder Woman' on Road Show Records.
Shelley's live performance lineup includes the Playboy Clubs International, the Improv, Marina City Club, Moonshadows Malibu, and BB King's. Her unique blend of music and comedy has captivated audiences worldwide.
As creator and star of her new hit comedy cooking show, 'ForkPlay®', Shelley combines all of her talents in a tasty tour de fork®! So pull up to the burners baby! Eatin' ain't cheatin' and every good meal needs a little ForkPlay® yum yum!

Shelley “AjeeDaPoet” Fowler, the author that brought to you the Unprecedented Melodious Words of Ajee Da Poet has now written her debut novel, the compelling Roses Bloom in the Ghetto.
Lena Summer Johnson, a young girl who grew up on the impoverished streets of the South Bronx, longed to understand the absence of her deceased father and the nonexistent love from a hateful mother, Robin Johnson who profited off of her daughter’s pain for own selfish desires. Unable to comprehend the difference between love and sex Lena searched out the attention that she craved in the arms of men. Some voluntary, some not.
A few months shy of her eighteenth birthday, Lena made a decision to make some much needed money anyway she could. On her short lived quest she runs into Gordon Lenox, an older suave and debonair man who turned her life around, giving her a life that most could only dream of. A life that was wonderful beyond her wildest dreams, made a sudden turn, leaving Lena once again seeking answers about her life.
Roses Bloom in the Ghetto will take you through the twists and turns of a young girl transforming into young woman who all of her life just wanted the one thing that no amount of money could buy, love

Words of Wisdom: We all need to Sizzle! That phrase was shared with me on a mentoring breakfast with a prominent West Michigan leader. She recommended the following action item: find 15 minutes each day to actively work on your present and future SIZZLE status, personal OR professional. Make a phone call, study a journal, talk to one in the business, make a planned objective happen, etc. To this day, I keep my SIZZLE journal close - and it’s paying off. Start SIZZLING today. It will make a difference.
