Fighting in relationships and marriages in general can be both a good (healthy) and bad (toxic) thing depending on the nature of it all. Fighting is healthy in relationships when it is rare, and not multiple times a day, for example. And when it is “Fair Fighting”; meaning both people truly listen and accept responsibility for their roles, while at all times preserving respect/consideration for each other. There is a fair amount of things that has to happen and not happen in order for fighting to be “Fair Fighting”. Being constructive versus destructive is paramount in “Fair Fighting”.
Unfortunately, unless we are concertedly taught otherwise, our nature isn’t to fight “fairly”. Being defensive and emotional is how people tend to instinctively react; but these primal instincts mostly exacerbate tension, and rarely conclude with healthy resolutions. ‘Not fighting fairly is indicative of an unhealthy relationship,’ according to some experts. Thus, we will CHop up some aspects of “Fair Fighting” in comparison to unfair fighting…

Do you trust the media to report the news accurately and fair. Some people have a problem with watching the news because they feel like its not being reported fairly. What makes a good news story? Everytime there is a break out in the black communities, the news have a camera crew there so fast to report it however, on the flip side of things, when there is a breakout in the white communities people feel as if its swept under the rug and kept quiet only getting minimum. How much affect does the media have on keeping negative stereotypical outlooks on the black communities. There is news that happes around us that we never have a clue about because it doesn't get reported. Did you know according to the Statisics under President Obama's Administrations in the last 2 years 49% of people killed by police were white, 30% were black. But this is not what is being reported on the news. This shows an unbalance and unfairness to the stories being reported. Some people feel this is what keeps the black communities oppressed, fighting, angry, bitter, and a sense of worthlessness because some people feel that police are only out here killing black people when in fact the percentage number shows that there are more whites that have been killed but why haven't we heard of these reporting Let's talk about this tonight on the K Smilez show with K Smilez and Angie B.

As part of my Disney trip planning I've discovered a lot of touring plans for places for the parks. They've been very helpful and so I thought it would be nice to do some touring plans for some of the places I've visited. While I've done an episode on the Iowa State Fair before, I hadn't done an actual plan where I go through and tell you how to tour the fair. That's what I'm going to do today, take you exactly where to go at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, Iowa. From the Big Boar to the Old Mill find out how to go to have the most fun at the Our State Fair because it's a Great State Fair!
Good evening friends and loyal listeners. If you listened to Friday's show, we had a spirited discussion of many issues. Today's show promises the same thing. They were all at the Iowa State Fair this past weekend. Aside from political messages, one might indulge in as many deep fried foods as you can imagine! Of course, if you have a problem with colesterol, I would not recommend it...lol. If you watched the weekend news shows, you know that two more names have been mentioned as possible Democratic candidates...Can you guess who they are??? Call us with your comments at 646-595-3247...and bring your coffee.
