Having a million bucks these days isn’t as rare as you might think. In fact, according to Phoenix Marketing International, a firm that tracks the affluent market, more than 5% of U.S. households have investable assets of $1 million or more.
That's only one way to measure if someone's a millionaire, of course. A net worth of $1 million also qualifies; subtract liabilities, including mortgages and car loans, from assets, including home equity and retirement savings, to determine your net worth. Either way, hitting the million-dollar mark is no small feat.
Do you have what it takes to be a millionaire – and will you know how to live the good life when you become one? Take our quiz to find out the (often surprising) answers

How NOT to Be Consumed with Queenly Disappointment
It happens. You are standing there in the spotlight. Grasping tightly the hand of the other girl. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting for the emcee to puh-lease announce the first runner up. Because you know…if your name is not announced, then YOU are the newly crowned queen of the pageant! Then, it happens. You hear YOUR name. Sudden disappointment engulfs your whole being. From the follicle of the hairs on your head to the tips of your beautifully sculptured toenails. “Nooooooo! My name was not to be called!” you scream silently in your head. All the work you’ve done. All the time you’ve put in. All the emotion spent getting to that moment on stage….and it wasn’t meant to be.
Well, I have wonderful news for you, my sister – all is not lost!
Actually, NOTHING at all was lost, but a whole lot gained. Take a look at the journey you traveled getting to that point. Look at the growth in many areas of your life that you went through. There are a few pearls of wisdom I am sure you gleaned along the way. Without traveling this journey you wouldn’t be stronger, smarter, wiser, and more beautiful, than had you not taken this voyage. Even standing on that stage, under that glaring spotlight, and not winning the crown is all part of this beautiful journey. Your life has meaning and purpose. At that moment in time, it wasn’t your crown to win. You put in the work. You put in the time. You put in the blood, sweat, and tears to get to that spotlight.
John, Robert, and Kyle join forces once more to discuss the issues facing all Americans. The guys talk about gun control in America, poltics, and right wing vs. left wing. Celebrity guests a-plenty in this all new episode of the Shark Dropper podcast.
An unprecedented $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot will be divided among three winning tickets purchased in Tennessee, California and Florida.
Each ticket is worth $528.8 million, lottery officials said in California, one of 44 states plus Washington D.C. and two U.S. territories that sold millions of Powerball tickets.
The winning numbers were 08 27 34 04 19 and Powerball 10, picked in a drawing on Wednesday night. The odds of having the correct numbers: 1 in 292 million.
1. How much of the jackpot goes to the winner and where does the rest of it go?
Winners should expect to keep only about a third of the advertised jackpot or cash payout
2. Does the store that sold the winning ticket get anything?
Cohen said that the seller of the winning jackpot ticket will receive a $25,000 bonus from the lottery.
3. Why do some states have more jackpot winners than others?
"It’s pure randomness,"
4. Have there been cases when people have called in thinking that they’re the winner only to be told that they are wrong?
"Those calls are no fun," Gerteisen said. "It’s more fun when they think they only won a little prize and it turns out they are a big winner!"
5. What happens if someone tries to cash in a fake or falsified ticket?
The penalties differ by state and offenders can face criminal charges if caught.
6. Why is this Powerball jackpot so large?
This Powerball jackpot started out as $40 million on Nov. 7, 2015, but there was no jackpot winner in that drawing or the 19 others that followed.
7. How many tickets have been sold?
Since this jackpot started on Nov. 7, 1.325 billion tickets have been sold
in Rock Music
Clark's Secret Identity is an experimental rock band that is hard to associate with any certain subgenre. While predominately influenced by modern progressive rock, the band also incorporates the sounds of art rock, post rock, and even hints of doom metal and punk. Despite these labels, CSI strives to connect personally to the listener rather than distance themselves as many experimental bands do, and the songs display a penchant for tightness, cohesion, and accessibility.
Clark's Secret Identity was formed in early 2014 when drummer Matthew Bankes posted an ad seeking musicians for an original rock project with a progressive rock feel. The ad was answered by guitarist Shane Anthony, a classically trained songwriter fresh out of college. The two struck an immediate bond over common musical interests and started jamming and discussing ideas. Bassist Keith Horning, a longtime friend and former bandmate of Matthew’s, joined the project and the core trio was complete. In 2015, Clark's Secret Identity decided to pull four songs from their growing song list to record for their debut EP. Recorded and engineered by Odin's Court guitarist Matt Brookins at D2C Studios, Clark's Secret Identity's debut EP was released on December 22, 2015 as a digital download.
