Yay...another Tuesday and tonight's show is all about the children (yeah...you adults can tag along too)! I will be talking about the latest social media app SnapChat (that's where your kids are probably right now) and my segment #AskMamaChar is about parenthood.

My guest, Zemirah Jazwierska is an author, school psychologist & mother! She will share how she beat anxiety at age 23 after being told she would have to medicate for the rest of her life to cope. She found better alternatives than pharmaceuticals & quickly learned it was no accident she had decided to search them out, when her own daughter presented with the same symptoms. Through her research and education she founded Kids Relaxation & has made it her life mission to help as many children (and parents) struggling with numerous anxiety illnesses. Zemirah's work with Kids Relaxation has been recognized worldwide & she is now known as the "Relaxation Coach".  Find more about Zemirah's remarkable program at KidsRelaxation.com & facebook.com/KidsRelaxation.

Doug Noll - Negotiate a Centered Life

    in Family

Douglas E. Noll, J.D., M.A. is an award-winning author, teacher, peacemaker, and mediator, specializing in difficult, complex, and intractable conflicts. He has been honored as Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America and California Attorney of the Year by California Lawyer Magazine.

For the past 4 years, Doug has been working pro bono in maximum security prisons, teaching murderers to be peacemakers. With his colleague, Laurel Kaufer, he has trained more than 200 men and women inmates to be peacemakers and mediators within their prison communities. The results have been astounding. Violence has been reduced, lives have been transformed, and inmates have regained their humanity.

So many inmates have told Doug “If I had just learned these skills and this knowledge 20 years ago, I would not be in prison today,” that Doug decided to reach out to the free world. He has written a simple e-Book, called “How to Live a Centered Life,” and has created Negotiate a Centered Life, an on-line life skills and re-lationship course. In addition, he reaches out to middle schools and high schools to teach young people the essential life skills that will guarantee centered lives and strong relationships. As Doug says, “If I can teach murderers to be peacemakers, imagine what I can do for everyone else.”

Doug hosts his own radio show and has appeared as a guest on hundreds of local and national radio and television shows.

Radio Enso #133- Daniel Noll and Audrey Scott from Uncornered Market return!

    in Lifestyle

Join me Monday, July 7th at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso when I welcome the return of two of my favorite past guests, Daniel Noll and Audrey Scott, the husband-and-wife storytelling team from Uncornered Market! They join me to discuss travel as a tool for personal development, their recent trip to Ethiopia and East Africa, and MUCH more!

About: Twelve years ago we  left San Francisco with six suitcases, a one-way ticket to Prague, Czech Republic and no jobs. Everyone asked, “Are you crazy?” Five years later, we did it again. We quit our traditional office jobs in Prague, sold everything, packed our life into backpacks and set off with a one-way ticket to Bangkok, Thailand. Our sights were set not on a particular city this time, but on the rest of the world.

Our family and friends really thought we had lost it. Not at all. This was us wanting to live deliberately and not asking What if? with regret later in life. What was meant to be a 12-18 month creative sabbatical turned into seven years (and still going) of exploring and sharing stories from this big, beautiful world of ours through our blog and social media channels.

Our goal at Uncornered Market is not just to inspire, but to help others build a story-filled life, whether that may take them around the block…or around the world. You might find us on a grimy, overnight chicken bus in rural India one day and sharing the story on stage the next day. We have been described as adventurers, professionals, and most recently, as travelers and storytellers.

    For more information, visit http://uncorneredmarket.com.
