CEMEX SAB de CV (CEMEX ADR) AND REVERSE DISCRIMINATION?

    in Jobs

Has CEMEX SAB de CV (CEMEX ADR) enaged in REVERSE DISCRIMINATION? It appears that CEMEX has a double standard policy, which allows for minorities with criminal convictions to gain, maintain and retain employment at its US operations while other groups are denied employment.  According to CEMEX's own company policy, they have a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohols, yet members of their management team have criminal convictions.  As African Americans move for equality, the issue must be address with fairness.  The issue of reverse discrimination and double standards in hiring practices has been submitted to President Karl H. Watson, Frank Craddock of Operations and Mike Egan, General Counsel, but to no avail.

    The New Human Sexual Paradigm

    in Spirituality

Shannon Port is a writer, teacher and professional speaker. Her teachings and writings are focused on healing the relationship between the masculine and the feminine within all human beings and on the earth. Her work is featured and shared regularly around the globe on websites, blogs, radio shows and summits that promote leading visionary voices for healing the world. She is the founder of the Art of the Feminine website, blog and Facebook page.

She is best known for the Art of the Feminine Podcast on iTunes where she shares the Divine Feminine Wisdom teachings with thousands of men and women around the world every week. The theme for the Art of the Feminine Podcast in 2015 is: THE NEW HUMAN SEXUAL PARADIGM. This years theme is focused on what Shannon believes is the most important issue that we face as a race of spiritual beings -- The Regeneration of Human Sexuality and the Healing of the World Soul.

The New Human Sexual Paradigm theme covers all the issues around sexuality that we face on the planet, not shying away from any of the hard issues, including pedophilia, incest, ography, rape and ritual abuse of children and adults. It also emphasizes the power of spiritual healing in our love relationships through enlightened communication and a sacred sexual connection with our partner.

"Our sexuality is the fuel of the Goddess. We have given our consent while in an unconscious state for our sexual energy to be manipulated, distorted and harnessed by an agenda that is anti-life and anti-love. Until we wake up collectively and realize that sexuality is not meant to be separated from the qualities of Love, Honor, Respect and Wisdom, we will be on a degenerative spiral of creation, moving away from our true power." - Shannon Port

Ask Dr. Applewhite About Disability and Racial Discrimination

    in Education

The term discrimination is too often associated with racism versus disability. In addition, racism and discrimination are frequently related in the U.S. media to the victimization of African-Americans and other Non-White groups by White Americans. As a result, African-American students with mental/learning or physical disabilities are often overlooked as they face the challenges of higher education and workforce success. Dr. Applewhite  is joined by Special Guest Professor Kelmer Muhammad (Educator, Entrepreneur, Author) to discuss discrimination and realistic solutions. This is a previous broadcast aired on 11-16-13 as “Students Discuss Reality of Discrimination We appreciate your one time or monthly donation of at least $5 or more to continue our radio broadcasts and help our students and Veterans with disabilities, in reaching their education and workforce goals? Visithttp://whiteappleinstitute.org and click on DONATE. Veterans conclude our show with news updates for Veterans who are students. Will Arkansas anti-gay law legalize discrimination for all unprotected classes?

    in LGBT

Monday, February 23rd, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson allowed a new law to block future anti-discrimination laws (to go into effect 90 days after the legislative session ends later this summer).  While the premise of the new law known as SB 202 appears reasonable, in actuality this law allows legal discrimination for all non-protected classes.

In this episode, we hear from three Arkansas residents.  Meet once again Scott Wyant, Founder of Straight Talk Arkansas, a website dedicated to Living liberally in the Mid-South.

We'll also hear from Cathey Shoshone and Christina Harrison. Cathey is the Co-Chair and Christina is the Founder of Arkansans For Equality.

Christina Harrison was born and raised in Arkansas. She founded Arkansans for Equality in 2011. As an ally, she had become frustrated with the bigotry she came across towards our fellow Arkansans in the LGBTQ community and wanted to do something to help. She began a ballot initiative to repeal Amendment 83 soon after. Christina is a combat veteran in the Army National Guard, and has just recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan.

Cathey Shoshone, also an ally, was born in Arkansas but has lived in several states around the South. She lives in Arkansas currently, She "liked" the Arkansan for Equality facebook page and volunteered to collect signatures for the ballot initiative.  The ballot initiative became obsolete when Cheryl Maples and Jack Wagoner won their case in Judge Piazza's courtroom legalizing same-sex marriage.  A federal case has also overthrown Amendment 83 to the Arkansas State Constitution. This decision has been stayed pending an appeal hearing.

Borderline Personality Disorder and Sexual Addiction with Carol the Coach

    in Self Help

Sex addicts and partners of sex addicts can have mental illnesses that complicate diagnosis and recovery.  One of these mental illnesses is borderline personality disorder, or BPD.  BPD is commonly associated with sex addiction and makes sex addiction much more difficult to diagnose and treat because the criteria for both diagnoses overlap.  BPD is considered a severe personality disorder often caused by cumulative trauma experienced in early and middle childhood.  Carol the Coach will interview Geoff Goodman who not only is a CSAT but a proffessor of psychology. He will be explaining some of the symptoms of BPD which include frantic attempts to avoid abandonment, chronic feelings of emptiness, and impulsivity, which can include self-injurious behaviors and sexual promiscuity.  It is important that mental health professionals screen for BPD when they assess sex addicts and partners of sex addicts.  BPD is extremely challenging to treat in psychotherapy because patients diagnosed with BPD often attempt to push away their therapists with hostile behaviors.  Fortunately, there are several evidence-based treatment models for BPD that, when combined with a 12-step program for sex addiction or codependency, can help the patient to find a successful path of recovery.

Targeting of Student Activists: How We Can Protest Discrimination In Schools

    in Politics

Voice of Rebellion Radio out of Stay Bold Radio responds to the denial of Al Suarez's membership into the Student Government Association of Ybor campus Hillsborough Community College in Tampa. Al has gone to this College since 2013, and experienced discrimination for this activism. We will go over cases of where students have been suspended, maltreated or discriminated against for their activism. We suspect Dr. Robinson (who's image is shown on the show) campus president is behind the decision inspite of promises by the Dean to Al. Dr. Robinson sent security on Al for showing up to his own radio studios on campus and had him unjustly temporarily suspended for speaking out once on the air and for a College paper article. Al returned and was banned a semester from College media. He still takes part in HCC clubs and committees. Chris Jay the co host in his high school had experienced similar things. We will be accepting callers. We hope to bring awareness and show how to fight such discrimination as our tax dollars pay for these schools that violate our free speech. The program will be 2 hours starting at 8pm eastern.
