SORT BY Relevancy
We continue to dive into the art of serving by learning to or being reminded of the art of serving people. This particular part of ministry can be tiresome, draining and very rewarding. It is good for us to think about other people, which often helps us to keep our mind off of ourselves and our own issues! We will learn that serving is not about being a doormat or giving in to every whim of the individual(s) we are lending our time and resources to, but serving people is all about God's glory being revealed and His name being magnified upon the earth. Serving people is all about Jesus! Talk with you then!
There are a few words that seem to be taboo in the life of the believers: submission, holiness and serving. Serving is a daily part of the Christian lifestyle. And our main priority is to serve our Creator, our Rescuer, our Father, God Almighty. Serving him is our greatest joy, but it can also be a great source of misunderstanding and confusion especially if we are serving for unpure motive and for selfish purpose. Join us tonight as we learn to serve God in holiness and purity. Join us as we discuss serving God with our whole self, mind, body and soul. Join us as we dive into the heart of the servant from the example of the world's greatest servant Jesus the Christ.
God calls us to serve Him by serving in our local church or ministry. This can sometimes be a tremendous burden, especially if we are serving in areas that the Lord did not call us to, we are serving in our own strength, or we are at the wrong ministry to begin with. At its best, serving God's people by serving in the local church is a joy and encouragement that keeps us focused and humble. We simply need to ask God what area of ministry He has called us to and be about our Father's business in completing the work. Study Luke 2:41-51 & I Corinthians 12. Talk with you then!
Kingdom Life Ministries International’s (KLMi) mission is to equip the Church. This is done through and by the Spirit of Truth. By allowing God’s Holy Spirit to lead the body, the Church will understand that by submitting to the kingdom of God we become partakers of his divine everlasting promises. We also know that Jesus Christ is our lord and savior and it is only through him that we can ever obtain abundant life. We have service for the Church live on Sundays at 12 noon EST called Sunday Morning Kingdom and bible study live on Thursdays at 6:30pm EST called Kingdom Awareness. You can join us right where you are by simply calling (310)982-4267 right from your phone or you can listen in by clicking the links provided at service times. Joe Davis, Director of Public Affairs, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Washington Office, sheds light on many of the concerns veterans face and he helps us to understand why the gratitude continues,
Joe keeps it real: he shares real questions and provides real answers!
Above all, Joe reminds us that for generations, the men and women of America’s Armed Forces have put country before self. On Nov. 11, Veterans Day, our nation honors the contributions of the nearly 22 million veterans living today, and all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of liberty and justice.
This Veterans Day, the VFW thanks every Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman and Coast Guardsman for their service. And we ask all Americans to say a prayer of thanks for those who are serving far away from family and friends. Without their service and sacrifice, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to cherish our many freedoms for the extraordinary gifts they are.

Transgender Soldiers Serving Openly In the US Military
There is a rush, it seems, to bring to the forefront everything transgender. Since Jenner has come out and done interviews and photo shoots for Vanity Fair, there is no putting this genie back in the bottle. I believe we can expect to see more and more of this story line coming out. However the issue of our military having transgender people serving openly in our military will be an issue that I believe will cause a ruckus. I’m going to tackle this in this episode.
Scott Walker is officially running for president. Did you see the press conference? I am wondering…Is he actually going to pull this off.
