Here at Pens Initiative, we will be with you following every single Penguins post-season game. We will recap, analyze, and tell you what you should think. We know you probably won't listen. But that's on you, and your buffoon yinzer self. We keep fighting the good fight in the name of hockey and Lord Stanley.
Game 1 of round 1 is in the books. Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti soaks up as much heel heat he can, while covering Pittsburgh's win over Columbus. Evil Shero, AKA Paul Clemente (at least that's what his momma called him), steps in the podcast ring with the Buzz-saw.
Did game 1 go as expected? Can Fleury answer his critics? How much pressure is on Bobrovsky, for the Blue Jackets to make any noise? And they preview what to expect the rest of the series, and what to look for on every bracket. Would New York or Philadelphia be a more favorable second round matchup? Who are some other teams to keep an eye on?
Mike's wisdom forces an Evil Shero heel turn. If you're not down with that, we got two words for ya....!
Pens Intiative's 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs postgame show is on the Radio: PI Podcast Network.

Tune in this evening, January 3, at 11pm EST for Worldmeets.US radio news with Managing Editor William Kern. Tonight we'll look at the most recent revelations from Germany's Der Spiegel that the NSA has managed to infiltrate the inner workings of the Apple iPhone with malware called DROUPOUT JEEP, and the agency's plans to build a quantum computer capable of cracking all existing encryption. We'll also ask whether, as Die Welt columnist Torsten Krauel claims, the Pope is being too hard on the wealthy, and whether we should worry, as columnist Jonas Pulver of Switzerland's Le Temps does, about Google's purchase of eight major robotics firms, including military robot maker Boston dynamics. Finally, we will examine the damage done to Russian orphans by Vladimir Putin's efforts to gain political leverage over Washington.
Worldmeets.US is a non-profit media project aimed at better educating the American people and creating relationships between Americans and people from other nations.
Most people think of Google as a search engine, albeit an all powerful and superwealthy search engine. But what most people don't take into consideration is that Google has become much, much more. Today, Google's ever expanding business empire includes such things as smartphones and tablet pcs (Android), the next wave in wearable computers (Glass), self-driving car technology, a direct-to-consumer genetic testing company and even such far out technology as giant telecommunication blimps.
So it should come as no surprise that Google is always looking to be on the cutting edge of emerging industries. In September, Google launched its latest venture, a medical company named Calico that is tasked with taking on death itself. That a couple of billionaires should be interested in extending their pampered life is not so unusual. Billionaire John Sperline spent $4 million to clone his pet dog, Missy. But cloning a creature isn't the same thing as keeping one alive. It's more like xeroxing one.
Some people think Larry Page and Sergei Brin have gone off the deep end on this one. But with a war chest of $45 billion at the ready, if anyone can take a crack at the Grim Reaper, it's Google. Of course, the endeavor could wind up as other ill-fated examples of what the smartest guys in the room did in such industries as housing, investing and banking. Only time and a few billion dollars will tell.
