Abortion is murder and ableist genocide

    in Politics Conservative

Abortion used to be a big issue where I was "ideologically" pro-life; but "pragmatic". But what I'm learning now is that, to say the least, many times, my "pragmatism" is gutless weakness. A perfect example has been my politics on Israel prior for months prior to the kidnapping of the Yeshiva students, which struck a raw nerve in me. But leaving that aside, abortion has been another example. I used to admire Israel's [too liberal] abortion laws, even though millions of Jewish babies get murdered while murderous Arab terrorists get free education in prisons, resulting in kidnappings of Israelis in order to demand for the "freedom" of these mass murderers. I remember years ago when I used to be against abortion even in cases of rape and incest. I was seen as reactionary and backward for it. I was ridiculed for holding that position. Basically my position was that though rape wa sa horrible crime, the baby in the womb should not be the one punished for it. Then to be more "reasonable", I started getting mixed feelings. And most recently, at most, it was mixed feelings for the first 40 days. But now I am against allowing abortion even in cases of rape and incest, thanks to the compelling arguments by Rebecca Kiessling, a pro-life activist who herself was concieved from rape. And also the fact is that there is no death penalty for the rapists themselves [though, in my view, there should be]. But put simply, abortion when it's not the only choice to save the mother's life, is murder, period. And it's also ableist genocide, as a disproportionate amount of those targetted are targetted for being disabled. I will discuss abortion on demand as a phenomenon of the anti-Torah madness, for the principle that all human life [both Jewish and non-Jewish alike] was created b'tzelem Elokim [in G-d's image] gets discarded.

Getting Away with Murder: A George Mallinckrodt Interview

    in Politics Progressive

Human Rights for Prisoners March, hosted by Mary Neal. Call (347)857-3293 to comment or ask questions.

George Mallinckrodt is a psychotherapist who formerly worked in Florida prisons counseling mentally ill inmates. He observed an alarming pattern of abuse by corrections officers and complained. He lost his job. Months later, he learned about the death by scalding of Darren Rainey, a 50-year-old black mentally ill inmate who guards scalded to death in a small shower. Rainey was tortured under a strong spray of 180°F water (water boils at 212°F). Rainey's skin had to be scraped from the shower after his body was removed. No charges were filed after Rainey's homicide, and no autopsy report was released to date. Disgusted by the lack of accountability. Mallinckrodt then published a book about abused mentally ill inmates, murderous corrections officers, and the Florida Department of Corrections called "Getting Away with Murder."

"The Florida Department of Corrections is riddled with amoral, sadistic sociopaths and the people who support, enable, and cover-up their crimes." ~ @GeoMallinckrodt (at Twitter)

Senseless Killings By Police Officers Going Unpunished

    in Entertainment

Year after year over 500 innocent lives are taken by armed police officers who are abusing and misusing their authority. Why haven't our Federal Supreme Justice of Peace courts and U.S.A. government stepped up to stop and harshly punish these police officers who are using their positions, badges and authority to KILL so many innocent people? The U.S.A government doesn't seem to have any problems sending our U.S. military to other countries to help them fight against the malicious killings by the authorities and terriorists in their countries, so why won't they do it here on U.S.A soil even if it is "Americans" in authorative positions doing the senseless killings? This has got to stop. We want to put Dillon Taylor in the spotlight along with Michael Brown because they were both young unarmed males who were brutally killed without just cause by certain Ferguson Police Officers. Join us at 6:30pm EST as we discuss this matter. Thank you. Feel free to join us on Facebook @ZHEMAGAZINEPAGE & on Twitter | Instagram @zhemagazine

    Senseless Hate, With Rabbi Yossi

    in Spirituality

We once again welcome Yosef Yitzchok Serebryanski to broadcast, who is known simply to his friends as “Rabbi Yossi.” Behind that simplicity lies a complexity of understanding and analysis of Torah and creation that brings joy and warmth to those who immerse themselves in his teachings. A true friend and confidant to thousands of people who turn to him weekly for guidance and wisdom, Rabbi Yossi is renowned for his compassion and open heart to all who enter his scope. During this broadcast Rabbi Yossi interacts with us regarding senseless hate, with some of the following questions being addressed: (1) What are some of the reasons hatred can come about? (2) Why do people not care about real truth and instead focus on imaginary truth that is man-made? (3) Why is the sound, music, chanting, etc., that people hear so important? (4) It is true that people hate that which they do not understand? (5) Should we try to reason with people who have baseless hatred? (6) It is possible for a person to choose to leave the cycle of senseless hatred and return to reason (and true freedom)? (7) Often when a person feels abandoned or rejected the result is hatred rather than sorrow. Why do you feel this is the case?

Rabbi Yossi is a major force in his general community. He is on the governor's committee of New York Rising to decide how spend 12 million dollars from the governor of New York in the community as well as connect with other government agencies to make a resilient community. He is part of a committee of NYC Planning from the mayor of New York for Canarsie, being co-founder of Canarsie Strong that deals with all issues of Canarsie to make it a resilient and self- sustaining community and is also Co-founder of Canarsie Blooms, creating the first public organic garden in the community.
