Being Belonging
by Masonic Companion in Life

One path is self absorption. Another option followed by a sliver of mankind is a departure. The masonic opportunity of fraternity is a tapestry incomplete.
Whether you find yourself in our secular environment, or a more strident religious/ theocractic atmosphere, the presence of the masonic estate, there are such a continuum of meaning, diversification produced by assumptions and drift.
For a moment, set aside your preconceptions and join me to look at the order broadly and personally.
Use of the internet has generated new words that have sifted into everyday conversation. Similarly, I wonder if masonry grows organically or what technology now calls viral or what observers call a social phenomena. Or is that a distorted picture of a philosophy with a cadre of men wondering if their sense of the order is superficial.
How would we know if we achieved a philosophical rightness? If we achieved that end, what of our preoccupation with management ?
Regardless of structure, regardless of leadership, the core beliefs of freemasonry are deeply rooted the fabric of meaning, the thought of oracles, the nature of mankind.

Dr.Armon Neel, Jr. - ARE YOUR MEDICATIONS KILLING YOU?
by REWIRING YOUR BRAIN in Health
Tags: misdiagnosis wrong medications side effects cascade of unnecessary drugs who to blame
In private, nursing, and assisted living homes and hospitals seniors are being misdiagnosed and mistreated by doctors who are misinformed about the dangers of drugs that drug companies tell them are safe and effective. People are getting sicker, many dying earlier than needed by both well-meaning doctors and those too arrogant to listen to or learn from the pharmacists who are “experts” on the side effects of certain drugs. They don’t take the time to listen to the patients full history or they misinterpret the normal” test results from blood and urinalysis. They tend to “treat “ symptoms. When a patient gets a side effect FROM the drug they prescribe another drug, often not understanding their interaction, which leads to the cascade of drugs that are killing people and bankrupting our medical system.
Doctors are not the only ones to blame. The drug companies who spend millions on research and testing these drugs are hell bent on making up their investment. Insurance companies are interfering doctors’ medical decisions by telling them what they can do with patients when they see only their records and make decisions based only on cost.Advertisierst cleverly emphasize the drugs’ great results while quietly listing the mandated side effects. The public wants instant relief from the realities of human life and pressures doctors to give them the latest ‘miracle” drug or they’ll find one who will.Dr.Neel takes us through a thorough trip through the human body and how each organ works, the tests to analyze how effective each part is working, and then warns us of the dangers of each class of -

This week we ichat with Lindsay and Tanya from The charity KIDS UP FRONT.
At Kids Up Front we believe all children deserve to experience the magic of the theatre or the excitement of a hockey game. It is our business to make sure children and their families affected by poverty, abuse, illness as well as newcomers to Toronto gain exposure to our community through the distribution of tickets. Our program, with your support, means:
Children benefit from developing a sense of belonging; feeling included; gaining exposure to “normal” childhood experiences Parents benefit from feeling valued; having the means to give their child a special experience; re-connecting with their child in apositive way Families benefit from sharing constructive leisure activities; encouraging positive social interaction between parents, children and siblings; healing and strengthening relationships Communities benefit from having engaged citizens; strengthening of community values; inspiring future leaders. KIds Upfront also has chapters right across Canada
