As your big data initiative scales toward even bigger data, the odds are that the cloud will play a critical role in your strategy, whether for storage or as the home for your analytics applications. How can you trust the cloud to keep your data secure and to protect the privacy of your customers and partners?
Trust in the cloud has been growing as the concept has evolved, but cloud-based providers and your own organization can do more to ensure that the cloud is a secure environment for your data. Some of that work is being done by the Big Data Working Group of the Cloud Security Alliance.
Working group co-chair Wilco Van Ginkel, who is security strategist for Verizon Enterprise, joins All Analytics Radio to discuss the efforts to identify scalable techniques for data-centric security and privacy problems. The working group's goal is to crystallize best practices for security and privacy in big data, and to help industry and government organizations coordinate the development of big data security and privacy standards.
Van Ginkel will be available to address your questions and concerns and share his advice on building out a secure big data strategy in the cloud.
In this event you will learn:
About the progress that the cloud sector and its customers have made in building a secure environment
About some of the best practices for enterprises that the Cloud Security Alliance has already identified
What types of big data applications are ready for everyday life in the cloud
How security and privacy protections in the cloud environment may evolve in the year or so to come
Join the All Analytics community on Thursday, February 26, at 2 pm (ET), and bring your questions for Wilco Van Ginkel.

Celebrating Mothers Everyday! And what about the Baltimore mother yesterday? It's the month of May and Mothers have one day. Women function in many roles that include, the secure, and sometimes-tumultuous task of Motherhood. Grief is a short word that describes variant degrees of loss. It could be as simple as losing a favorite pair of shades, to disappointing a child by not keeping your word, then the ultimate losses, such as loosing a child. The many hats of Mother (earth) can keep us moving so fast we can feel overwhelmed, emotionally burned out, and just plain ole tired. Many of use are not able to identify grief as a source of angst, thereby unable to develop skills that allow healing of the heart. Learning to identify grief can mean the difference between generational trauma, and having love, life, and laughter. This week on talk back Tuesdays join 3 counselors and a couch as we begin the month of May dedicating issues of health and wellness to the Mothers of this earth. Whether you have given birth to children, or given the responsibility of molding the mind of a child, its imperative our soil remain fertile without feeding them contaminants that pass throughout generations. Hello everybody welcome to the Grover Weaver Ministries’ International Sunday School Lesson Commentary on 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 for the week of May 4, 2015.
IN V 1: ‘’spiritual gifts’’ and ‘’would not have you ignorant’’ are the keyword and keyword phrase to understand Paul’s response...V2: Paul knows he first must attack their attachment to dumb idols before he can lead them to Christ.. V3: we see how the Apostle juxtaposition his ‘’no man’’ comment to make his point.
V4: The minister tells them the Father has many spiritual gifts..V5: He tell the Corinthians there are different ways the spiritual gifts are ministered...In V6: Paul acknowledges the many different ways the spiritual gifts can be carried or put in operation...V7: And, the spiritual gifts are declared or made manifest in ministry to profit man in his work to bring the lost to Christ..V8, 9,10: are one big paragraph, ‘’Saying the Spirit gives one man gift and another man another...
Our concluding verse, V11: is a paraphrase of Roman 8:28, that all things work together for good for the same Spirit is rightly dividing and giving to every person that which He wants each to have so there should be no envy or jealousy for what he gave to me nor I to you.
