Seattle Music on the Move
NWP is proud to welcome great Seattle musicians today!
Rafael Tranquilino is known locally in the Seattle area as the lead front man and guitarist of his band, The Rafael Tranquilino Band. A power trio consisting of guitar, bass and drums that fuse rock, blues and funk with an alternative and fresh sound. He’ll play a searing riff, tease you with an old fashioned Delta slide and then bring you back down with his powerful lyrics. Rafael's exciting style and notable chops have earned him the reputation of being one of the "hottest" young guitar slingers in the Pacific Northwest and his band was noted as “Best Blues Band of 2012” in the Tacoma Weekly.
Letters From Traffic is a seven-piece rock ‘n’ soul phenomenon featuring soul-driven vocals, fresh horns, rock guitars, funk-soul rhythms, moving melodies and life-driven lyrics. Original cuts textured with voice, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, lead & rhythm guitars, drums and bass. Contagiously moveable, inspiringly anthemic, or just down dirty and fun, Letters From Traffic is always quality, always true. Launched at a classy Seattle house party in 2006, Letters From Traffic has grown into a spirited rock & soul sound, and kept a promise to reflect a ‘considered life’ as kick-ass performance inspirado. This acousticsoul sensation features front man and progenitor, Scott Concinnity, on lead vocals & rhythm guitar; Dennis Hart on electric lead guitar; Chris Couvillion on trumpet & flugel horn; Alex Gee on slide trombone; Bradford King on tenor & alto sax and vocals; Matthew Miller on drums; and Jacob Doss on electric bass and vocals. Ranked as one of the top 10 alternative bands in Seattle on the charts at reverbnation.com, LFT boasts moving a sold out crowdTags: Seattle Blues Talk Love Latino
