Beware of the Scribes
38 Then He said to them in His teaching, “Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces, 39 the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts, 40 who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

Around the Fire: A Collection of Holiday Short Stories (The Scribes Anthology Series) (Volume 1) is a collection of short stories written by a group of passionate writers, (Lynette Lee, Christopher Bartlett, Edi Cruz, Amber Box, Sylvia Stein, and Ronnie L. Jeffires) who just happen to be great friends. Inspired by people and events in their own lives, they have decided to donate the profits to a different charity with each edition. Today's panelists are Amber Box, Edi Cruz, and Sylvia Stein.
This season's anthology will benefit Make a Wish, with all proceeds donated to the organization. Their hope is to provide their readers with a collection of their favorite stories while supporting their favorite charities!
Join along as they bring you holiday stories from the emotional to the fantastical (because witches celebrate the holidays, too!) in the very first edition of The Scribes Anthology Series: Around the Fire.
The panelists, Amber Box, Edi Cruz, and Sylvia Stein, are waiting to take your questions or respond to your comments. Call them at 646-721-9611 or visit them our chat room, or visit them at:
Luke 19 KJV
37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
"Then the Phariseesand some of the scribes came together to Him, having come from Jerusalem. Now when they saw some of His disciples eat bread with defiled, that is,with unwashed hands, they found fault. For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands in a special way, holding the tradition of the elders.

The Kingdom Of Heaven
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
There are 4 things that you must have to start a Kingdom (1.) A King (President, Leader) (2.) Subjects (People) (3.) Laws (To Govern the people) (4.) Land
THE KINGDOM (GOVERNMENT) OF GOD (HEAVEN) IS AT HAND!
Spread the Good News (Gospel) of the Kingdom
Hand means that the Kingdom will be ushered in manually not automatic.
We must become ambassadors that represent God's kingdom
We are witnessing the Changing of Worlds
THE KINGDOM (GOVERNMENT) OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU!
Where will we find God's Kingdom? The Kingdom of Heaven is within you.
It is through you that the Kingdom will manifest on earth.
We have to "will" it into existence
in The Bible
Mat_5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Mat 23:24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
Lev_19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
Deu_6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

Join the conversation with this month's (r)Evolutionary guest, author, speaker, traveller, translator, workshop leader, NORMANDI ELLIS. As we enter into the dark time of the year, Normandi joins us to talk about Ancient Egyptian concepts of the dead and the after life, including two ways of accessing the spirit world via the dualities of the Akhet and Duat.
So join us as we travel down the Nile on a voyage into the mysteries of Ancient Egypt and the Shadow Realms.
As an author, playwright, poet and translator, Normandi Ellis is perhaps most well-known for her translation of the Egyptian Book of the Dead, Awakening Osiris. Luke 9: 18-23
What does the Cross Symbolize? The cross symbolizes Life misery, suffering, heartaches, pain, and God's mercy.
Did Jesus want to die on the cross? No. He wanted there to be another way: “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22:42). He accepted the Father’s will, and died for our sins.
Did God want Jesus to die on the cross? No. He wanted another way. (Luke 22:42). God’s original plan was that man would not sin at all. However, Adam and Eve disobeyed him and broke his law. He permitted sin in the garden, and at the cross.
18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?
19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.
20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.
21 And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;
22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
