Tonights broadcast is a penetrating look into the world of politics and pretenders. Our LORD desires a clean vessel through which He may flow through to the nations of the earth. By pointing out the hypocrisy in the Scribes and Pharisees of His day we are convicted to take a deep long look at the conditon of our hearts.
Beware of the Scribes
38 Then He said to them in His teaching, “Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces, 39 the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts, 40 who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

This season's anthology will benefit Make a Wish, with all proceeds donated to the organization. Their hope is to provide their readers with a collection of their favorite stories while supporting their favorite charities!
Join along as they bring you holiday stories from the emotional to the fantastical (because witches celebrate the holidays, too!) in the very first edition of The Scribes Anthology Series: Around the Fire.
The panelists, Amber Box, Edi Cruz, and Sylvia Stein, are waiting to take your questions or respond to your comments. Call them at 646-721-9611 or visit them our chat room, or visit them at:
"In the morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council; and they bound Jesus, led Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate. Then Pilate asked Him, "Are You the King of the Jews?" And He answered and said to him, "It is as you say." And the chief priests accused Him of many things, but He answered nothing. Then Pilate asked Him again, saying, "Do You answer nothing? See how many things they testify against You!
Matthew 23:29-35 in the Holy Bible, Yesus says Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the Prophets, and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous, and say, if we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you Prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify: and some of them ye scourge in you synagogues, and persecute them from city to city; that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Matthew 26:57-60 (GW)
57 Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas, the chief priest, where the scribes and the leaders had gathered together.
58 Peter followed at a distance until he came to the chief priest's courtyard. He went inside and sat with the guards to see how this would turn out.
59 The chief priests and the whole council were searching for false testimony to use against Jesus in order to execute him.
60 But they did not find any, although many came forward with false testimony. At last two men came forward.
Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
In today's message provided The LORD's willing I’d like to share some thoughts with you on what Jesus referred to as the weightier matters of the law and the crucial difference between The Doctrine of God and the doctrines of men or as commonly known "dogma".
Plus as we unpack these three weightier matters of the law I’d like to share with you some things that have happened to me over the past 5 years during my walk with The LORD Jesus Christ especially here on Blog Talk Radio.
Matthew 15:1-9New King James Version (NKJV)
Defilement Comes from Within
15 Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, 2 “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”
3 He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; [a] and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’[b] 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— 6 then he need not honor his father or mother.’[c] Thus you have made the commandment[d] of God of no effect by your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:
‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And[e] honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”[f]
