Hard Starboard Radio: The Education Of Scott Walker

    in Politics Conservative

Do silly denials of Islamic terror have a silver lining?; NEWS FLASH!  Barack Obama doesn’t like America!; Dumb blondes are why we will lose to the Global Caliphate; Many great job applicants lack a degree (and, thus, never get hired); Success in American shouldn’t have to go through a B.A., but still does; Scott Walker is immune to Democrats’ class-warfare virus; and, time-permitting, is it time to kill the filibuster completely?

Hard Starboard Radio: Is Scott Walker The Victim Of His Own Success?

    in Politics Conservative

Board-game lovers, unlike congressional Republicans, would at least know how to set a goal and think three moves ahead; What did Jeb Bush do to fight ObamaCare?  Absolutely nothing; Ted Cruz should try speaking to people instead of at them; Ted Cruz signs up for ObamaCare, but that's not what's really going to doom his candidacy; The "New McCarthyism" exists, but it has nothing to do with Ted Cruz; Scott Walker's quick rise to the top tier of GOP contenders has caught him and his campaign staff off guard; and Ben Carson, God bless him, is not ready for prime time.

C.D. - Scott Walker and the RIGHT to WORK; The Continued Assassination of Cosby

    in Current Events

This Saturday (March 21), thanks to feedback, we will cover in depth; Wisconsin's Governor Walker's recent signing of its Right-to-Work law, which as expected, has been excoriated by the left, as "anti-union".

If you accept the narrative, that labor/working is completely and inextricably associated with unions, you would agree.

But, are unions necessary today? Why or why not?

Should the worker be held hostage by unions, by being forced to join them and pay dues?

We also want to examine the motivation and motivators behind the attacks on Bill Cosby; the accusations of drugging/rape, after 30-40 years.

Barack Obama thinks voting should be mandatory for Americans, though I'll take the liberty to say that he also means "non-Americans (i.e. illegal immigrants).

Yeah, I know, "people died, to protect our [black people's] right to vote, so this should be pretty academic.

BUT, since when does a right become a requirement?

Other issues are on the table, both domestic and international, so let's get ready to

GRAB THE BRACH OF CRITICAL DISCOURSE!

Hard Starboard Radio: Thank The Left For President Scott Walker

    in Politics Conservative

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s recall was a deadly error for state Democrats and labor extremists. It made a college dropout into a Republican rock star, and the biggest threat to the leftwing social order; The farcical game of the one-sided “gotcha” question; The survey data are clear: There is a patriotism differential between the Right and the Left; Obama’s Keystone veto Is a victory for the lunatic Left; and Barack Obama defies the will even of Democrat senators.

The fascinating story of America’s love of vitamins—and how it affects our health

Should I take a multivitamin? Does vitamin C really prevent colds? Can I get enough vitamin D from the sun? Are dietary supplements safe? How much of each vitamin do I need?

There’s no question that Americans are fascinated by vitamins and nutrition – we think that vitamins are always good for us, and that the more we can get, the better. But how much about vitamins do we really know? And how might the answer to that question affect the way we eat?

When it comes to vitamins, it turns out that the experts themselves are surprisingly short on answers. Yes, we need the thirteen dietary chemicals known as vitamins; without them, we would die. Yet despite a century of scientific research (the word “vitamin” was coined only in 1911), there is little agreement around even the simplest of questions, whether it’s exactly how much of each vitamin we each require or what these chemicals actually do.

Hard Starboard Radio: More Long Knives For Scott Walker

    in Politics Conservative

Nobody really cares what Scott Walker thinks about Darwin, or his being a "college dropout," but it is all the proof you need that the Wisconsin Governor is the 2016 frontrunner, and how desperately the Left fears him; A look ahead at life under a Walker Administration; and Barack Obama's phony-baloney AUMF "request" is flawed and dangerous, and would in effect de-authorize the use of significant force against the Islamic State.

SCOTT WALKER LEADS IN NEW CALIFORNIA GOP PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY POLL

    in Politics Conservative

LOS ANGELES -- Scott Walker, Governor of Wisconsin, has a strong lead by a statistically significant margin in a new statewide poll of 600 likely Republican voters in California’s June 7, 2016 presidential primary election conducted by Landslide Communications.

California is a decidedly blue state in which Democratic Governor Jerry Brown recently won re-election by over one million votes, bucking a national trend that favored Republicans. And a Republican candidate for President has not won the state of California since 1988.

“Walker’s lead in both the full candidate field and narrowed matchups is strong, and statistically significant even though it may surprise some observers," said James V. Lacy of Landslide Communications, who wrote the questions and commissioned the poll.

Jim Lacy is author of Taxifornia: Liberals' Laboratory to Bankrupt America. Lacy is the co-founding director of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association and a former official in the Reagan and Bush Administrations.

    Scott Walker in the crosshairs

    in Politics Conservative

You won't want to miss the next cheesy episode of the RINO Hour of Power with your host Rick Moran and co-host Jazz Shaw of Hot Air.

Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker has vaulted into the lead for the 2016 presidential nomination and Democrats are sharpening their knives to go after him.

The media, too, is salivating at the prospect of finding flaws, blowing up controversy where none exists. Walker is getting it from all sides with no sign the left and their media allies will relent any time soon.

We'll talk about the assault on Walker with TV analyst and author Mary Katherine Ham.

The show streams live from 8:00 - 9:00 PM Eastern time. A podcast will be available shortly after the end of the show.
