In this episode you'll learn more about the Big Brothers and Big Sisters here in San Diego.
For more than 100 years nationally and 50 locally, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 7 through 18, in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters Vision is for all children to achieve success in life.

I want to devote more time and thought for this topic. I think there's something more sinister happening here. While the lynching of criminals is acceptable at times, there may be other motives at play that have no relation to justice. The media incited this mob action and one might ask who made those decisions and why. The media also knew about their overwhelming power to shape public opinion that served their purpose for the moment. I suspect a criminal act of greater significance was perpetrated against the public by the media. Today we know our media is corrupt and doesn't serve the public interest.

This week we will have our guest, Ken Holtz an investigative reporter, and a retired sheriff examine corruption within San Bernardino County. And as usual where there is corruption money is usually involved. Unfortunately the money involved is your money Mr. and Ms. Taxpayer! Sadly there is a lot of money and a lot of corruption within our County Government according to Mr. Holtz. You may see some of Mr. Holtz's articles on iEpolitics.
Mr. Holtz like many believes we must tackle the corruption within San Bernardino County head on by starting with the Sheriff's Department. The department has an annual budget of over $500,000,000 (your money), employs over 1600 deputies and has over 2,000 volunteers. Many feel the department is corrupt and mismanaged and the taxpayer bears the brunt of it. The real victims are the law abiding, taxpaying citizens of the county. Ken is a strong supporter of Paul D. Schrader for SBCO Sheriff.
We invite you to listen to "Ask Your Sheriff" on your computer or on the telephone. All shows are live but are recorded to be heard anytime in the future. Please feel free to copy and share.
Our chat room will be open during the entire show. We invite all your questions. Opposing points of view are welcomed.
