United Infrared's Thermal Imaging Conference will take place in the Omni Hotel in San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter from 3 to 6 June 2013. I'm Ken English. Online, I'm known as the MediaMojoGuy. Mojo is an abbreviation for mobile journalist. A mobile journalist is a person who uses the tools of the internet, i.e. audio (podcasts), video, images and text to add content to websites and blogs. I'll be in San Diego, California for United Infrared's Thermal Imaging Conference from June 3rd to June 6th, 2013 to talk about, and demonstrate, several social media applications, including BlogTalkRadio and Animoto. The Thermal Imaging Conference (TIC) will take place in the Omni Hotel in San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter. The Thermal Imaging Conference was originally for certified thermographers, but a new entry-level program called JumpStartIR has been added. More than 50 educations sessions will be held, including the JumpStartIR program which will introduce attendees to the concept of thermal imaging and the many applications available. Several manufacturers will be there with demo equipment ranging from thermal imaging cameras to moisture meters. The social media component will focus on podcasting - I'll produce three shows on BlogTalkRadio - and video. The video will feature the digital platform Animoto, along with the basics of setting up a YouTube channel distributing the videos on various social media sites, including Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. The Thermal Imaging Conference will feature an array of speakers talking about infrared and social media applications.

Provided International Coaching Certification clinic for physical education specialists in twenty-three (23) primary schools. Fundamentals of baseball were offered to 500 summer camp participates at the Insports Summer Camp in Jamaica . The summer programs consisted of (1) hitting, (2) throwing, (3) running bases, and more. The foundation provided summer camp participants with training equipment. We, partnered with the Institute of Sports to provide back to school supplies to hundred of students at Jamaica National Stadium which was donated by the foundations and foundation partners. Five-day baseball clinic with Mike Toomey of Major League Baseball the Kansas City Royals, Mr. Ross Murphy, former professional baseball player and native Jamaican and myself. Our guest this morning is Ben Green. Ben is CEO of the American Red Cross of San Gabriel Pomona Valley.
Ben joined the Chapter as CEO in January, 2007. He brings with him 18 years of experience in non-profit management, having served as Executive Director of the Pasadena Senior Center and the Mizell Senior Center in Palm Springs.
Ben previously managed community programs, facilities and events as a Recreation Professional for 15 years.
Throughout his management career, Ben has received recognition for excellence and awards for community service, including Coachella Valley’s Newsmaker of the Year and the Illinois Jaycees’ Top 10 Outstanding Young Persons.
He is an active member of the Pasadena Rotary and serves on the Executive Committee of the Pasadena Chamber.
Ben’s relationship with the Red Cross began early in life. At the age of 15, he volunteered for the organization’s Lifesaving Program. He moved on to serve as a first aid and aquatics instructor throughout the 1970s, becoming a credentialed water safety instructor trainer in 1975.
Ben obtained his bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation administration from Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri.
Today, Tuesday, June 4 is Sidewalk CPR Day in Los Angeles County and Ben is here to tell us all about it.
