Sports talk and discussion with an attitude for the passionate and hard core fan. Tonight we will welcome our newest team correspondent, Jennifer Lee Chan, on the field reporter covering the San Francisco 49ers for NFLfemale.com and onhergame.com to discuss the overview of the NFC West contender two games into the NFL season. We'll touch on the Monday Night Football mini-meltdown resulting in a loss to the Chicago Bears, the off field distractions, and where we think Colin Kaepernick is thus far in the season.
The NFL SuperFan series continues as we preview the 2014 San Francisco 49ers with everyone's favorite rabid Niner fan/Alabama alum/SEC elitist Sedrick Hall. Topics to be covered:
Will the 49ers get over the Seahawks hump?
Thoughts on the 2014 Niners' draft?
How tough is the NFC West?
Are the NFC's best two teams in the NFC West?
Will Colin Kaepernick take the Niners to the promised land?
What is up with contract negotiations with head coach Jim Harbaugh?
Rattle and Hum Sports Dallas Cowboys Postgame Show
RattleandHumsports.com host Bryan Houston welcomes Dallas Cowboys writer Matthew Postins to digest the Cowboys season opener versus the San Francisco 49ers.
If there were a good week to get the 49ers this was it. Did the Cowboys take advantage of the troubles in the Bay Area?
How did Tony Romo look returning to a full game of action after back surgery ended his 2013 season in Washington?
It is only one game but what can be made of the addition of Scott Linehan to the offensive play calling committee? Was there more of a focus on running the football to protect the diminutive Dallas defense?
And how did the defense show? Who played and where? Is there anything that can be taken from this game that shows any diffence with Rod Miranelli in charge?
All this and a quick peak at next week in Tennessee...
Join Bryan and Matthew tonight LIVE at 7 pm CDT!!!

Join Women Warriors on Wed August 13th at Noon ET as we learn about “How to Break the Cycle of Abuse” with our special guest Marilyn Hawes, Founder of the child protection charity - Enough Abuse UK – breaking the cycle – changing lives. Learn what you can do to help break the cycle of abuse.
As a teacher Marilyn attended many courses on Child Protection and asks why none of them gave information on how to recognize “grooming” in order to protect children. This remains the case today with many courses. The ability to recognize “grooming” is an essential learnable skill. Her three sons were victims of sexual grooming and abuse by their Head teacher, her boss and best friend of 20 years.
Marilyn regularly speaks to the Media, public, organizations, schools, conferences, parents and children across the UK to break the culture of silence and resistance and to educate people with correct, relevant and vital information to prevent child sexual abuse. She is well known for her strong, pragmatic views. Her empathy and friendly approach reaches out encouraging people to address the issues by raising their understanding which makes for a safer future for children and their families.
Marilyn has been involved in many TV programs such as ‘Judges in the Dock’ with Mark Easton from BBC. She has appeared on BBC “ Songs of Praise “ and is regularly involved with BBC News, Radio 5 Live, SKY news, Press and others. She passionately believes victims need not make their childhood abuse a life sentence – with appropriates therapy and support systems they can thrive - not merely survive! To learn more visit her website, www.enoughabuseuk.com.
Sometimes the memories are too much to hold inside. Sometimes the pain just gets too big. Medicating our pain as survivors of child sexual abuse is one way to survive.
But as long as we are addicted, we will never thrive. Addiction kills relationships, careers, healing and spiritual growth. Addiction takes the life out of us and returns the destruction of all we hold dear in exchange for killing the pain.
David Pittman, director of Together We Heal, knows both the pain of abuse AND the pain of addiction. And now he knows the joy of helping others get free from both. Join David and Misa as they bring hope for healing from addiction and child abuse.

Shalom everyone. Tonight I will be going over some FB post and comments and discussing our need to show care and concern for one another despite our place in life and how just even the smallest act of concern can help our people have a feeling of pride and respect which can help a person want to walk more honorably and noble in their day to day life. I aslo want to touch on the violence that is so prevalent between Black men and women and why Black women seem to feel they must be accepting of this behavior from our Black men regardless of their social economic status. I also want to ask the question of why is it when you push a HELP BLACKS ONLY agenda or platform it is mainly older Blacks who ask crazy questions about your motives and start talking about the unfairness of focusing on just (one) Race or group even when it is their own. Why are they so pro assimilation even when we are witnessing first hand the destructive results of we having taken that position. Maybe some listeners can call in and help me understand what these kinds of African Americans are so afraid of or is it something else? Get ready for another great 9Mind Sacred Sisterhood show. Hurry, go tell uh friend.

OPEN TOPIC or "open mike" night. Call in! Pick any issues, topics or subjects you'd like to discuss. Wearing a Blue Ribbon is the symbol of Child Abuse Awareness! Millions of abuse victims (men and women) hide the story of their experience well into adulthood. A huge number continue to suffer from pain, anger, fear, shame and embarrassment for decades. Most will agree their traumas have resulted in an inability to trust, make good decisions and have healthy relationships. But giving up the secret is often how recovery begins, one survivor talking to another. Join Bill Murray and his co-hosts, panelists and guests, many of them abuse survivors, others supporters and friends, for an informed discussion of the many important issues that surround child abuse. Anonymous calls and chat room participation are encouraged. ~~ Please see our web site at: www.NAASCA.org
