Semir Sam Osmanagich is a Bosnian-born Houston (USA) resident, author, researcher and businessman.
He has discovered an ancient pyramidal complex in Visoko (Bosnia-Herzegovina) which consists of five colossal stone structures in the shape of the pyramid with extensive pre-historical underground tunnel network. He has established the "Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun" Foundation to pursue the excavation and geo-archaeological work. (www.bosnianpyramidofthesun.com)? He teaches at the American University in Bosnia-Herzegovina as Anthropology professor, in particular Bosnian megalithic sites.
Sam Osmanagich authored and narrated 12-episode documentary "Search for Lost Civilization" for the state Bosnian television FTVBiH (2007) which was based on his book: "Civilizations Before the Official History“ (2005) and filmed in Peru, Bolivia, Easter Island, Costa Rica, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Malta, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.
Sam Osmanagich has authored ten books about ancient civilizations (The Mayan World, Peruvian, Mexican, Pacific, African and ancient European civilizations) that have been published in the United States, Turkey, Estonia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
We are honored to present Sam Osmanagich, Ph.D.,who discovered the Bosnian Pyramid Complex in Central Bosnia in 2005, and is a renowned pyramid researcher on five continents. "Almost everything they teach us about ancient history is wrong" has become his famous lecture opener. He is an Anthropology Professor and Director of the Center for Anthropology and Archaeology at the American University in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Foreign Member of the distinguished Russian Academy of Sciences, with dozens of Nobel Prize winners in its membership. He's made TV appearances on CNN, ABC, BBC, National Geographic, History Channel, and European TV. He wrote and narrated a 12 episode documentary "Search for the Lost Civilizations" based on his book, "Civilizations Before the Beginning of the Official History", which is one of 10 that he's written. The Bosnian Pyramids have become the most active archaeological site in the world, with Dr. Sam as the principle investigator, and creator of the foundation to support it's exploration. During this interview with Lavandar, he gives fascinating details about the oldest, most precise pyramids on the planet, still generating multiple, measurable energy fields. Ancient megalithic sites can be understood only if viewed through the physical, energy and spiritual realms at the same time, says Dr. Sam. Visit his website: http://www.samosmanagich.com

Sam Jaeger explores a different kind of parenthood in the indie short Plain Clothes. Sam wrote, directed and stars as a cop trying to balance the brutality of his work without bringing it home to his family. In real life, Sam is a family man with two boys who married his college sweetheart. He tells host Robin Milliing how the themes of marriage and family have resonated throughout his projects. He says, 'I guess I've always been fascinated by how we are defined by our families. Parenthood was another avenue of that. The construct of that entire show was we're fallible people but we're trying to do better.'
Growing up in the small quaint Ohio town of Perrysburg, Sam says he sought out the movies rather than 'drinking and sledding.' The Dead Poets Society inspired him to become an actor. His passion for filmmaking began in high school where he'd shoot movies on VHS and offer free rentals in the local video store. He says taking control of the stories he wanted to tell was what compelled him to write and direct.
Recently he took his wife and kids to New Zealand to film the pilot Lumen which he says also touches on the realities of family, but with a sci-fi backdrop.

This is a pre-recorded show.
Sam Uzi started life in the early-1980s as a cartoon character and then, by the late-80s, had become a full-blown terror in the pre-internet online world of BBSs - frightening the unwary, tormenting the unthinking, and entertaining everyone else. Denizens of FidoNet and NirvanaNet BBSs will remember (fondly, or with deep trepidation) the intermittent arrival of the Clue Police, whenever the stupidity and pig-headedness became unbearable. Ah, the simple innocence of days gone by. Sam Uzi's first novel, Face Pirates, was written in 1997 and published in 2010. Since then he has written and published six more novels, all ostensibly in the science-fiction genre, although he has vastly egotistical pretensions that his work (mostly about people and ideas rather than zap-guns and shiny technology) is more literary fiction than sci-fi potboilers. When he's not writing, Sam is an avid amateur CGI animator, whose latest work, Pancakes (based on the famous 1961 Joe Simonton UFO/alien encounter), is nearing completion. As a basic strategy, Sam makes a point of believing anything and everything, until proven impossible, but – fortunately – belief does not play a large role in his appreciation of reality. After all these years, he still may not know what it's all about but that doesn't stop him from shooting his mouth off at any given opportunity.

They're anxiously awaiting the return of The Outlanders series and ready to talk all things Sam Heughan on today's show. Rez and Andy welcome Heughligan founder, Kim Lovelady, to tell us all about Heughan and his Heughligans.

Sam Jaeger is living proof that just because an actor has played opposite such ladykillers as Bradley Cooper—in American Sniper—and Benicio Del Toro—in Traffic—he can still wind up being the kind of guy you take home to mother. “We’ve been together for 16 years,” the star of NBC’s Parenthood tells Milling About host Robin Milling of college sweetheart Amber Jaeger. “We spent the first eight years trying to figure out what it means to be in love with your best friend. And one of the things my own parents did right was to stay married. Still, it took a long time for me to be able to propose. It took an equally long time for my wife to be ready to accept. Looking back now, the marriage has changed. I think you go through highs and lows. And now having kids changes the dynamic of everything you do on a daily basis. It never occurred to me before I had kids that everything I did was entirely self-involved.”
