Angelo Savoldi, the world's oldest living professional wrestler, passed away last week Friday(9/20/13) at the age of 99. Savoldi, whose real name was Mario Fornini, began his wrestling career in the 1930s, and became the first American to ever main event in the Puerto Rican territory, before moving back to the states and becoming a five-time NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion. At the end of his career, near the end of the '60s and into the '70s, he worked for WWWF and was a minority business partner in the company. A professional wrestling living a long full life is something rare these days.
The TNA roster page has recently been updated with two names being removed. The contracts of Mickie James and Ken Anderson have come up and no new deal has been reached as of this writing. Will the two former WWE Superstar's return to the open door in TNA Wrestling? Or will they attempt a return to the company that made them big names to begin with in the WWE? Can TNA continue to lose names?

Ladies and Gentleman on Episode 54, the 16Bit Assassins are joined by a very special guest, New York Times Best Selling Author, known for his contributions both to the Star Wars universe as well as the creation of some of the most popular characters in the Forgotten Realms, R.A. Salvatore. Tune in as we talk about his kickstarter campaign to bring tabletop gaming back to it's roots, the inspiration behind the kickstarter and how exactly he comes up with the characters so many of us have grown up reading. In console gaming news Left 4 Dead 3 rumors, Britain gets better collector's editions than we do, Behtesda shows no Wii-U love, and Dunny and Toaster make the arguement on why games like Mass-Effect are necessary. All this, and our usual hijinks on episode 54: Salvatore and the Assassins.

Calling all Dog and Cat lovers!
It is the beginning of Fall and a sweet cool crisp is in the air! What better excuse to curl up on a sofa with a dog or cat and read a book? Well, grab a mug of hot chocolate (with extra marshmallows), some tea, and listen to our special studio canines best friend Leland Dirks, with an extra cat treat from Julian Rixon and some excellent music from Admiral Bob.
Leland Dirks, lives in the middle of a beautiful nowhere that is Colorado's San Luis Valley. Angelo, the world famous Border Collie, and Maggie, his black Lab philosopher mix, allow him to share their off-grid home. I hear that all three tolerate The Cat who does a merely adequate job of rodent control. Leland has written numerous books such as Seven Dogs in Heaven, Angelo's Journey: A Border Collie's Quest for Home, and Mostly True: 15 Short Stories, The Cat Who Thought He Was a Border Collie, and many more.
