It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

How To Be Biblical Salt And Light
No less an authority than Jesus Christ described we His believers, we His followers, and we His disciples and Body as salt and light as part of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5. Yet He also gave some very clear instructions on how to be those things and some warnings about losing our saltiness and not letting our light shine to the world. I'll discuss that biblically and I'll talk about how that applies today as Christians, even as conservative Americans in this country
