Sgt. Kevin Briggs (also known as the Guardian of the Golden Gate Bridge) is a retired California Highway Patrol officer who has stopped upwards of two hundred people from jumping off of the Golden Gate Bridge into the San Francisco Bay.
The Golden Gate Bridge is the second-most used suicide site/suicide bridge in the world
In 1990, Kevin Briggs graduated from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) academy and worked predominately on the Golden Gate Bridge (GGB). This assignment proved to be very challenging, as the GGB produced an average of four to six suicidal subjects, multiple collisions, and dozens of other law enforcement “calls” each month. In 1999, he completed training at the CHP Motor School, and in 2008, was promoted to Sergeant. Having graduated from the FBI’s Crisis Negotiation Course, one of his duties was to train new CHP officers and GGB staff on crisis interventions/negotiations.
Sgt. Kevin Briggs retired from the CHP in November, 2013, to promote Crisis Management, Leadership Skills, and Suicide Intervention/Prevention worldwide.
Join Hosts Denise & Danielle with guest, Kevin Briggs, as they discuss his experiences as Guardian of the Golden Gate Bridge, crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
Proverbs 16:3-Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

Today we turn our attention to healing virtue of forgiveness. Using Ephesians 4:31, 32 as our basis, Linda discusses what we need to move from unforgiveness to forgiveness.
We return to our two examples Jacob and Esau (Genesis 32-33:20) and Joseph and his brothers (Genesis 45:1-15)
Understand that unforgiveness is a sin which separates us from God and others.
Steps to forgivess: the healing process
Moving forward with joy & peace
Are you holding a grudge, angry, fearful or even anxious? Forgiveness provides the bridge to healing emotionally, spiritually and physically.
Are we just dropped on this earth, live out our lives in experiences and vanish into dust? What is the purpose of our being here on earth? Is the universe a cosmos of limited time with humans walking the planet? Are we in our own glass bubble or a part of a bigger plan and evolution of the universe? What are the universal principles that connect us in life?
Brent Hunter, author of The Rainbow Bridge: Bridge to inner peace and to world peace will be sharing the universal principles that unite us all. We are not living individually and creating chaos, the world is orderly and when we act in concordance with general goals, the rainbow to happiness is ever flowing.
