Who should be stakeholders in disability inclusion? This week will have open discussion on Africa Disability in focus; will be identifying stakeholders in Africa, the bigger picture on how we can develop means that will enhance disability inclusion. We will review obstacles that make it difficult for disabled to participate in social development especially in Zambia.
Mr. Takunda Denya is based in South Africa, Mr. Denya is originally from Zimbabwe, and as a Disabled who left Zimbabwe to go and live in South Africa, he will be sharing with us his experiences he had in Zimbabwe as a Disabled, an amputee, who lost one of his leg in road accident while in his own home country , And moving to South Africa where he currently reside with his wife and Son, he share with us the differences regarding Disability policies in South Africa in comparison to Zimbabwe. (Takunda will suggest how ADIF can help to implement Disability in Zimbabwe, the country that has suffered political malaise for almost a decade)
Join us Tuesday night, 15th May 2012 at 7pm ,20:00 hrs Zambian time when we host a second round of the Zambian draft constitutional debate/discussion involving the Civil Society Groups in Zambia , Transparency International Zambia Executive Director Mr Goodwell Lungu , SACCORD representative Mr Obby Chibuluma and Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) representative Mr Isaac Mwanza as we look at further inssues in the draft constitution including the defining of marriage , effect of rule of law according to the draft constitution, separation of powers and how this affects the powers that the President holds.
