Author and long-time journalist Terry Irving moved to Washington D.C. in 1973 to kick around for a few weeks and never looked back.
In the nation’s capital, Irving started out riding a classic BMW R60/2 for ABC News during Watergate. Carrying that news film was the beginning of a 40-year career that has included producing Emmy Award-winning television news, writing everything from magazine articles to standup comedy and developing early forms of online media. He has traveled and worked in all 50 states plus parts of Europe, Africa and Asia.
Irving is the winner of four National Emmy Awards, multiple Peabody, DuPont and Telly awards, plus an honor at the Columbus Film Festival. He has produced stories around the world from the fall of the Berlin Wall to Tiananmen Square. He worked as a senior live control room producer at CNN, Fox, ABC and MSNBC. He wrote and edited copy for some of the top anchors and journalists in television news including Ted Koppel, Diane Sawyer, Wolf Blitzer, and Aaron Brown.
Irving is an active member of the International Thriller Writers and the Mystery Writers of America, and serves as a board member of the Foundation for Moral Courage.
Irving is the author of the on-going memoir “On the Road” and the self-help book “The Unemployed Guy’s Guide to Unemployment,” both published in 2012 by Rock Creek Consulting LLC. His debut novel “Courier” released May 1, 2014 from Exhibit A Books, the crime fiction imprint of Angry Robot Books. It’s the first of several books planned for The Freelancer Series.

SATAN IS described in the Bible as a “a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” Yet surveys show that a majority of American Christians — people who self-identify as “born again” — don’t believe that Satan / Lucifer / Helel ben Shachar (the Hebrew name translated into Latin as “Lucifer”) actually exists.
Russ Dizdar of Shatter the Darkness Ministries and host of theRagged Edge radio program begs to differ. His work as a deliverance minister has brought him into contact with many people under the influence and control of demons. In this interview recorded at the 2014 Pikes Peak Prophecy Summit he described the process of creating a “multiple” — essentially a demonically charged Manchurian Candidate — and how the existence of this dark underground is a legacy of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
Sheila Zilinski and Doug Hagmann interview Russ Dizdar, who will discuss the five A's of spiritual warfare: Alertness, Awareness, Authority, Armor and Action.
Sheila and Joe Hagmann interview Pastor Steven Anderson of Faithful Word Baptist Church on current events and the Christian church.
Tune in on Wednesday October 22, at 8 PM CDT (What is Central Daylight Time?). We will be discussing the Russ Faria case with Michael Corbin and Mary Anderson. Michael is one of four friends of Faria that was implicated by the prosecution in this case. Mary is Faria’s cousin and family spokesperson.
We will be taking calls during the second half of the show. Please call (347) 850-1478 with questions and comments about the case.
Russell Faria was convicted in 2013 of murdering his wife in 2011. Faria was convicted despite the fact he had a rock solid alibi. Four witnesses testified that Faria was with them watching movies at the time of the murder. Gas station security cameras and a fast food receipt also confirm Faria’s whereabouts on the evening of the murder. The prosecution had no answers for the alibi witnesses so they turned on them, shockingly implicating all four in the crime. If these four witnesses attempted to help Faria get away with murder then why have they not been charged with a crime? They would all like to know the answer to that question as well. All four have been outspoken in this case and would like answers about the allegations made against them. At the same time, all four continue to fight for the freedom of Russ Faria.
The judge in the case also suppressed evidence about another possible suspect that just happened to be a beneficiary of the victim’s life insurance policy. Two jurors have now come forward asking for answers, wondering why they were not told about this important evidence.
Was Russ Faria convicted of a crime he had nothing to do with or was this a case of four friends that all conspired to help a fellow friend get away with murder? Tune in to hear the details of this compelling case.
