Speak Life Radio ~ The Importance of Mental Health CheckUps
Everyone is familiar with the concept of a periodic medical checkup --- some sort of scheduled doctor's visit to check your blood pressure, weight and other physical benchmarks.
The notion of a regular mental health checkup is less established, perhaps because of the historical stigma about mental illness. But taking periodic stock of your emotional well-being can help identify warning signs of common ailments like depression or anxiety. Such illnesses are highly treatable, especially when they are identified in their early stages, before they get so severe that they precipitate some sort of personal -- and perhaps financial --- crisis.
"Absolutely, people should have a mental health checkup" our guest tonight is Tish Granville a licensed professional clinical counselor employed with Emerge Counseling Services in Akron Ohio. She serves many children, adolescents, adult woman, and couples in an outpatient setting; treating various mental health and relationship issues.
She also is Co/Founder of Center of Holistic and Intergrative Health LLC; a mind - body - spirit wellness organization that focusses on educating individuals in the community on holistic wellness.
Tish is a newly wed who enjoys reading, nature, art, spending time with loved ones and writing. Please join us!!!!!

As years went by she was heard on the radio from time to time and performed in all the local venues in greater Cincinnati, Northern Ky. and Indiana. Wanda has even wrote several songs and currently has 2 CD's to her credit. Wanda retired from the bands in 2000 and began working as a DJ and running Karaoke shows at local fairs and other events. later in 2002 she went to work for Bobby Mackey as his house DJ. She has written two books on the subject; "I believe in paranormal things" and "Wicked they walk the tour guides book". At present time, Wanda has spent countless hours totaling over thousands each year, walking people through haunted locations and telling the history of each site. She has seen many strange things and has had countless first hand paranormal experiences that she has shared in her books and on several T.V. shows such as... "My Ghost Story", "Kentucky Life", "Ghost Hunters", "T.A.P.S." and has even spent some time with ghost adventures during their visit to Bobby Mackey's. Speak Life Radio ~ The Power of Gratitude
Blessings family and welcome back to another amazing show! Happy Thanksgiving everyone, let's talk about "The Power Of Gratitude", Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Often times we get so busy chasing after the things we want, we forget to be happy. You hear people all the time say: Oh, I will be happy when I get this and that, when I get there, when I will do this and that ... and when those things do happen, they go planning the next thing and the next thing and forget to enjoy the things they achieved so far, the things they long for. By doing so people also forget to enjoy what they have, they forget to be happy. Don't let that be you!!!!!! We are excited to welcome our Guest Sherrod Forster - Life Coach and Motivational Speaker who studied under the legendary Les Brown and Anthony Robbins. He is a successful Real Estate Invester who has made his fortune helping others live their dreams. Please join us!!!
