Julia Roller:The first months and years of motherhood can be the most challenging and disorienting of your life—and faith. When you’re surrounded by the happy chaos of children, how do you spend quiet time with God if the only quiet time you get is while you sleep? How can you demonstrate a solid spiritual life to your children if you don’t have time to pursue one yourself?
When Julia Roller discovered that her spiritual growth had been stunted by the busyness of life with her toddler, she embarked on a yearlong journey through ten spiritual disciplines: prayer, fellowship, submission, study, simplicity, silence, worship, fasting, service, and celebration. As she focused on each discipline, she discovered practical ways to observe them—even in the chaos of her every day.
Mom Seeks God offers a highly relatable story and useful advice to help new moms grow in their faith as they address life changes with grace, patience, and prayer. As readers discover ten essential faith practices, they’ll learn that motherhood, itself, is a spiritual discipline, and may be God’s most effective technique for forming a more Christ-like life.

America's Top Roller Coasters and Amusement Parks" and Travel Expert Pete Trabucco.
Roller Coasters provide people a safe and controlled adrenaline rush as it pushes people to lightning fast speeds, death defying drops, and twists and turns that will make anyone dizzy. If you want to know what are the most epic roller coasters of all time for speed, twists and turns and stomach turning drops, Pete Trabucco the author of "America's Top Roller Coasters and Amusement Parks" has the answer for you.
Unfortunately, the most recent horror — two NYC police officers ambused and mrudered — is only just that, the most recent horror. This time though, the cops were killed rather than doing the killing. That has changed everything except the commentators.
Not surprisingly, the huge, old-line police departmkets (thhnk NY, Boston, Chicago) are always quickest to blame others with inflammatory language...while avoiding any responsibility themselves for deaths and troubles. In this case, protestors weren't supposed to speak out against civilian violent deaths at the hands of cops. Moreover, they should stop thtis FIrst Amendment stuff immediatey and forever! Coming under the steam roller also are the likes of NYC Mayor de Blasio, President Obama and, well, liberals in general.
I"ll kick around my take on the dreadful dynamics.

Appropriation, Racism and Misnomers, OH MY!
-- Racism in the ATR/DTRs: The 800 lb. Gorilla in the Room!
We're presenting our most popular show in archive again for your edification and reflective thought. Please tune in and listen to Candelo Kimbisa, Ancestor Healing and Malik Kimbiza and hear them get to the root of the problem and ask the essential questions facing us all in these changing, charged times!
Has the recent explosive growth and interest in the ATRs/DTRs flooded religions like Palo, Vodou, Santeria, etc. with people who have hidden agendas and/or deep-seated biases? Does subconscious hatred and/or racism toward children of the Diaspora, while worshiping and petitioning the very same ancestors and Spirits that gave birth to these descendants play a part in the corruption of ATR/DTR religions? What roles do greed and lust for power play in the acceptance of new initiates or prospective godchildren?
Grab a seat ladies and gentlemen because that rebroadcast from November 10th was a roller-coaster, and needs to be heard again! Join the Bad Boys of Palo every Monday on Candelo's Corner at 5pm PT, 8pm ET, online, call in and listen by phone 646-478-5072, or 'Click-to-Talk' via a computer interface. While we will not be able to accept live callers to this special rebroadcast, feel free to join in chat using a registered BlogTalkRadio account.
