Returns on investments (ROI) are amazing. People play the stock market; they have 401K’s or RIA’s all under the guise of making more money than they started out with. People gamble on anything from the fastest horse to win the Derby, to how small was the smallest recorded snow flake. People purchase homes, cars, clothes, shoes, electronics, holidays/vacations, augmentation surgeries and on and on. This risk taking associated with all the above mentioned and then some, is all done with an expectation of a profitable return on their initial investment.
What return on your investment for your life are you looking for? So, my questions to you are simple this ”what risks are you prepared to take for your health, spiritual wealth or well being, peace of mind, to live your dream, to be the embodiment of your life’s purpose?” What is the life ROI that you are wanting?
Join me Dr. Wendy Dearborne choice expert and life coach and Olivia Lashley expressions coach and artist as we look at life and ROI’s.

Hebrew 6:7-8 "For the land that soaks up frequent rains and then brings forth a crop useful to its owners receives a blessing from God; but if it keeps producing thorns and thistles, it fails the test and is close to being cursed; in the end, it will be burned." (CJB)
In business, we invest with an expectation of a return of profit on our investment. There comes a time after the investment soaks up more and more of our hard earned money, that we evaluate that investment. In some cases, we determine the investment a bust, and salvage what we can. In other cases, the investment pays off with a fantastic harvest of profit.
The Bible constantly refers to a notion that our work is to return a profit. The story of the talent in Matthew 25, as well as the Proverbs 31 woman is applauded because she sees to it that her work is profitable (Proverbs 31:18).
Even the government will deem your activity a 'hobby', if year after year, you fail to report a profit.
Let's look at effort, expenses. and evaluating our status. Let us Determine to be PROFITABLE!
Wherever you reside, chances are you know when you need to leave by to avoid the brunt of traffic. But sometimes, you haven’t a choice, and you are stuck with the slow crawl towards your destination.
As the costs are rather staggering when computed, it really only makes sense to begin tackling these problems today, and not waiting another 2, 3 or even 5 years. These are real dollars coming out of our pockets today. We have not even tacked on the emotional costs of getting to your child’s swim meet or ball game. Some things do not have a price tag.

Last week we talked about how millennials aren’t as different as companies think, and this week we’re going to talk about the ROI of workplace transparency and the race for talent.
If you’re of a certain age, you may remember reading comic books and seeing advertisements for X-ray vision glasses, giving you the ability to see through, well, anything.
That fantasy of old is a reality today for employers, employees and candidates alike, with social media and world of work review sites giving anyone the ability to “see through” company walls as much as they can see into candidates’ backgrounds.
That’s critical in the constant race to attract and keep talent because we continuously market and sell each other blue sky, when all the while storm clouds brew and burst at a moment’s notice, grounding trust’s feeble flight.
This week’s show highlights great real-world examples of transparency in the workplace, from Ernst & Young, Centro, Hilcorp and more.
Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-creators and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we learn more about the ROI of workplace transparency with this week’s guest: Kim Peters, CEO Great Rated! from Great Place to Work®.
