Dr. Rod Kurthy practices in Mission Viejo, California. He graduated with highest honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1978, and completed a GP residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
His 34 years of research & development include laser and surgical periodontal bone regeneration; endodontic surgery, including bone regeneration and repair of resorptive lesions; teeth whitening; teeth sensitivity; development of several cosmetic techniques and impression techniques; and even credible, professional marketing techniques designed to attract only high-quality patients. His first participation in periodontal research was in 1976, and teeth whitening in 1977.
He is the recipient of many awards and accolades including the Mosby Scholarship Award; FDU Prosthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry Awards; the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society Gold Key Award and a commendation from the Chief Attorney of the United States Department of Defense for his role in supporting patients’ rights in disputes with insurance carriers. Dr. Kurthy’s efforts were directly responsible for forcing Blue Cross of California to correct their Explanation of Benefit comments to conform to accepted practice. Chloe currently sits comfortably atop the USA Cycling's Pro XCT standings. She finished first in the short track and second in the XC race this past weekend at the Montana race.

Tom Woodruff Jr started his interest in movies and monsters at an early age, having watched late-might broadcasts of monster movies, effects by Ray Harryhausen. Interest in special effects or the craft of makeup became his focus after having seen Planet of the Apes in a theater when he was 13 years old.
In 1982, Tom moved to Los Angeles. He joined Stan Winston's team on the hit movie Terminator. At that point, Tom became a key ccordinator under Winston, with the opportunity to work on features such as Aliens and Predator, as well as television shows such as Amazing Stories. During that time, Tom began wearing the make-up and costumes the studio designed. His ability to perform as an actor, his strength, and build led to his portraying the title characters in movies such as Monster Squad, Pumpkinhead, and Leviathan.
Eventually, Tom formed Amalgamated Dynamaics with Alec Gillis. They worked on projects such as Death Becomes Her, Alien3, and Starship Troopers, Spiderman, Wolverine, X-Men First Class. They received multiple Academy Award nominations, having won for Death Becomes Her.
Tom has also played lead characters in features such as Aliens Vs Predator, Scary Movie 3, Looney Tunes-Back in Action, Evolution, Hollow Man, Alien Resurection, Alien3, Jumanji, The X-files Feature, and more.

In the 1980s Rod Dixon was one of the most competitive runners on the American road-racing circuit. He set world-class times in the 1500 m (3:33.9) to the marathon (2:08:59), and won bronze medals in the World Cross Country Championships in 1973 and 1982. His 1983 victory in New York City Marathon was the most dramatic finishes the event has seen, when he came from behind to catch leader Geoff Smith at the 26-mile mark and win by 9 seconds.
Rod Dixon’s is the founder of the KIDS MARATHON FOUNDATION whose mission is to create a life-long commitment to good health and fitness habits in children at risk of obesity-related health problems. The program educates, empowers, and inspires 7-12 year old children to become and stay fit.
