Just Keep Ringing the Bell...Cry Wolf ??

    in Current Events

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[c] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments,

    in Education

Join us for a discussion of philosophy and the holidays.

Philosophical concerns surrounding charity, gift giving.  In particular, developing an intellectual awareness of why the 'bell ringing' charities are a problem.

A little more on "consumerism".  Constructive focus on how to find which things are truly valuable.

    NO Happy Holidays!

    in Current Events

Mary J Blige has a song titled this and it described her being in love with a married man. Some of us are involved with people who do not belong to us. If this is your case you are not going to be happy. Some of the songs "What do the lonely at Christmas" and the one that starts off bells will be ringing. It sounds like Jackie Wilson and it is sad. A radio stations started playing Christmas music in October. Depression runs high during this season. Unreasonable gift expectations, havoc on bank accounts, being alone. If you are single it doesnt get better. Seeing everyone coupled up, getting invites to those holiday parties that you won't go to. Every year the Merry Christmas vs Happy Holidays heat up and it should be whatever works with you! Remember the true reason for the season!

    The Swiss Alps in Engelberg

    in Travel

With winter here in full force, it’s time to hit the slopes at the top of the Swiss Alps as Travel Brigade visits the town of Engelberg, Switzerland, and heads 10,000 feet up to the top of Mount Titlis on the 360-degree-rotating Rotair tram. The mountain is so high there is a glacier on top year-round and we’ll tell you how you can walk through an ice cave and take the “Cliff Walk” suspension bridge that offers incredible views across the top of the Alps. We’ll talk about amazing skiing in the winter as well as great year round activities on the mountain. You’ll also get a taste of the classic Swiss experience of walking through a mountain meadow while listening to the cow bells ringing on your way to a traditional swiss meal of Alplermagronen. In the charming village of Engelberg at the base of the mountain, we’ll visit a Show Cheese factory and take a horse carriage ride to a centuries old monastery. Enjoy the trip! World War III and Civil War in America Unfolding Before Our Very Eyes

    in News

The stages are being set and the actors are being cast in their respective roles for two separate yet closely related plays opening in the global and domestic playhouses of pandemonium. From within the United States, racial and socio-economic tensions are growing against the backdrop of the militarization of our police forces. Bullets, body bags, detention centers and depictions of draconian measures against the American people are just a few of the props that have been moved to center stage in the American theater, where a captive audience anxiously awaits the opening narration and introductory scene that will guide the plot forward.

As front row seat spectators of these dual plays, many can be heard asking in hushed tones and murmurs, “What will be the spark that ignites the dry tinder strewn about the stage of our Republic? The world?”

Amid the stage preparations, the stifled conversation of the audience offers many possibilities, including an orchestrated economic collapse, racial tensions and race baiting, growing ideological differences that have been exacerbated by covert means, identifiable to those with spiritual discernment, or to those having the eyes to see and ears to hear.

Watchmen have been ringing the alarm bells for years and decades, only to be scoffed at and ridiculed by those working behind the scenes. What has been done by design, following the script written by the playwright of pandemonium, has too often been ascribed to incompetence.

For those with ears to hear and a desire to know the positions of those on the domestic and global stages, tune in tonight for a special Hagmann & Hagmann Report broadcast. Steve Quayle, one of the first watchmen to sound the alarms on a national and international scale will be the sole guest as he details the coming acts of plays unfolding before us.
