Last week we basically broke the internet with our editorial on the over production of reticulated pythons in the United States. Many keepers took instant offense to our episode without even actually listening to it.
Tonight, listen in as Kevin McCurly the "Evil Morph God" of New England Reptile chimes in with his retort on some of the things we mentioned in our last braodcast. Kevin is a pioneer when it comes to Reticulated Pythons and takes special offense to anyone trying to give them a bad name. More importantly, he's an intellegent person capable of a debate on something he's passionate about. Tune in to this special episode to gain a bit more insight on what we said, and the reasons we said it....

The chondro breeding season is either underway, or will soon be under way for a majority of chondros keepers in the Northern Hemisphere. GTPkeeper Radio welcomes Dr. Benson Morrill from Australian Addiction Reptiles for our breeding season episode. Dr. Morrill is well known in the Morelia community as the author of the Reproductive Physiology and Advanced Management section of The Complete Carpet Python book. Please join us as we discuss parameters used for determining a chondro's readiness to enter a breeding program, cycling, the stages of follicular growth and how they affect your female chondro, male reproductive physiology, differentiating late stage follicle growth from ovulation and egg physiology.
Whether it's knowing how to write code, being articulate about the impact of technology on the 21st century economy, or ensuring today's students are versed in important STEAM (Science, Technology Engineering, Art, and Math) subjects and skillsets, it's long been clear that the days of geeks hiding in dark rooms and coding away from the rest of the world is an outdated notion.
Not only will the simplest coding languages help you understand and use the Web with its many games and apps, but many jobs use a computer. According to Code.org, two-thirds of open computing jobs fall outside of the tech sector in fields such as journalism, finance, medicine, and entertainment. Understanding coding and technology can also offer a level of mental exercise that helps you adapt to many different career options.
Charles Keating, president of West Sound Technology Association and president of his own technology consulting corporation, Keating Consulting Service, Inc., will join us and others in discussion about Hour of Code, technology, and the future.

In this episode we are going to hit on the jag gene in carpet pythons. With all the new people coming into carpet pythons we thought it would be good to take it back to the begining of carpet morphs and hit on this morph. Were going to set the record straight and de-bunk the myths for you.
This was a good week for Morelia news and were bringing it to you.
